I personally think you should've done this with UK, since troops and such are 4x weaker on water. It would've made a nice target for absolutely obliterating transporting troops and hitting them as they unload on your land. The only downside would be fighting their navy and such, and also possibly artillery, but that'd be difficult with most countries that have a coast.
