I have ADHD, so underestimating the time it takes for things is my daily life. Seeing that you took several days to do this is actually helpful for me personally. It doesn’t give of the impression that you can race through a thing like this in less than 24 h. So kudos for being transparent!! ❤️❤️❤️

How funny, I was about to comment the same thing, about how important it is to show real life on KZbin, and also to take your time with things if they end up taking longer than expected... and how I also have ADHD, so it feels extra meaningful to see that kind of honesty. You beat me to the punch! x

I’m an Aussie and have always grown up with the flat sheet. Because there is a sheet between me and the quilt/duvet cover I don’t need to wash the cover as often. It is also very useful to have the flat sheet in the summer when it is too hot to sleep under a quilt/duvet.

I LOVE your space!!! I'm still a month or two away from being able to redefine my crafting/crochet/sewing space🥺 With Covid came the need to ask our dearest friend to live with us so we'd always have someone here for our kiddos. Husband runs a business, I was working full-time and suddenly we had kids home 24/7. I sacrificed my office space to accommodate family needs and even my temporary setup had to go to accommodate Christmas. I am definitely inspired to do things completely different than before and I can't wait to see it come together ☺️ Great video. Thank you, Wendy!

I recently organized my fabric in a cheap up-cycled that’s pretty efficient. I cut old cardboard boxes into rectangles and wrapped my fabric around that, wrote out labels with care instructions and wrapped that around the mini bolt of fabric, finally I set them all up on my bookshelf using bookends to hold them up. It’s made it really easy to see what fabric I have and how much of each. I used to just fold it but it got messy quickly and was hard to to put back fabric I took out but didn’t like. The same amount of fabric that was spilling off of my shelf is now taking up less than half of the space. (edit) 5:45 OH! Also for notions! I’ve been washing out empty soda cans, using a can opener to make a larger opening (using a flat metal tool after to push down any sharp stragglers sticking up), then I fill them with separate notions. If you keep them in a tall basket you can even stack the cans on top of one another to save space. It sounds ugly but you can even use seltzer cans like san pellegrino to make it cuter

I rolled my fabrics last summer and purchased clear plastic stackable containers to store them inside cupboards or under the bed. Rolling is game changing! I also bought a new spring mattress that doesn't need a box spring so changed my bedframe to one that has 10" of clearance. Lots more storage! I feel far more organized and am able to find things or shop my stash. It is terrific isn't it!

Ah cleaning. Something I've been planning to do for a long time. Living in a small student room for multiple years makes that I got a lot of stuff but almost no space to put it. The put it behind the doors and then close doors is definitely my strength haha. I have been waiting for some shelving unit but pandemic logistics gives it a hard time, hopefully next week I'll finally be able to clean out part of my room and be able to use my couch again (now place for appliances and stuff). The rolled up fabric together is very satisfying to look at.

Hi Wendy, I envied your new wool matress. Something surprised me. There was only your fitted sheet and the mattress. In my environment we use something between the fitted sheet and the mattress. The fabric is a thick flanel called "molton", "calmuc". It is 100% Cotton. The weight can be 180 (too light), 500 , 800 (too heavy, thick) grams per M2 (square meter). Hope this is helpfull.
