I know that 100%, cause back when there was the Deoxys event I wanted to get it more then once and restarted my White 2 a lot and it was a pain to always first beat the gym in order to be able to trade Deoxys over to my Black 2 xD Also ever since Pokemon Bank and the PokeMover came out you are also able to transfer Pokemon via the PokeMover to Pokemon Bank, as soon as you can put Pokemon in the PC Box xD The only thing you can only do later in B/2W/2 is the use of the Pokeporter, which is for transfering Pokemon from Gen 4 to Gen 5.

I have bought a few used games with wiped saves, but I think the treasure was a Lot that had Pearl, Shadows of Almia, and an Action Replay. I bought Pearl for my sister, but upon looking at it we chose to leave it be. It had a launch date save file, and while there were a few hacked pokemon it had access to every event. So I got to experience each one. Sadly, the cart is pretty rough, and I have a lot of trouble loading it now.

Like all the fun events, the C-gear Backgrounds that you could only change with the Global Link, Dream World with the fun Mini games, your house and Pokemon and Items that you could transfer to your game. Meeting people from all over the world in Join Avenue. It was just something really special, of course you can still play the game now, but a lot of things that made the games even more special are sadly gone now. RIP Dream World and Global Link

I don’t really understand why people buy these games for so much like if you want to play the game there is definitely cheaper ways to get it and if you are just looking for rare things on a save it’s sort of just dumb since most sold save will be regular save in the middle of a play through with random Pokémon and any full save that had cool stuff if they played after likely transferred everything up like my old saves would have close to or full dex with many shiny entries but the box would either be empty or filled with shit Mons because I transfer them all

if you still have a ds or 3ds, you can just homebrew your device and download the roms on your sd, its exactly the same thing, even lets you interact and trade or battle with players who play on a cartridge, same thing as owning the games except that well no cartridge

The funny thing is that with an especific wifi setting for your ds or 3ds and a cellphone hotspot you can get all pokemon events for all gen 4 and 5 games if they had an online event that doesnt require another game like ranger, in that case you need both games and a copy of ranger that in any point didnt do the event(ony once per copy even with reset)
