@@Al-hv4rb that’s what I was thinking! A full sized bottle of Pantene is going to be cheaper than than a 5x smaller bottle of Biosilk. so I think an important detail is how much the product is by volume, and then you can calculate the bang for your buck.

Sooo I got curious and went back and looked. Everything is the same about this box from last year. Besides some minor things: the drawer knobs changed from circles to star, the color of the items was slightly different. But everything was basically in the same order even day 12 for last year and this year was the same setting spray. Just thought to add my weird answer I found hahaha. But love your channel!! I got myself a coffee pod advent calender this year and it's been a fun little adventure! I dont like buying a full bag of coffee that I end up disliking, so being able to try a month's worth of different coffee and finding out what I like and dislike has been fun! I know you're not a primer or setting spray person, but I find those are the products that give me the best glowly look. Milani makes a really nice dewy setting spray that I love, and the glow recipe dew drops mixed with foundation is really nice, or used under as skin prep/primer.

Hey Alexandria! Pillow talk was originally just one lipstick but CT came out with two more deeper skin friendly versions of the Pillowtalk lipstick and liners. They then came out with a couple of blushes and eyeshadows under the Pillowtalk name. ☺️

CT is great, but definitely way overpriced. If you look enough you will find a dupe for half the price or less. Works out about $16.50 for each drawer. A lot for samples and a few full sizes.

Paula's Choics makes one for a third of the price, and it's fragrance free. If you want the fancy, get a pretty jar and put some into it. The only good thing of late I have seen about the Charlotte Tilbury one is that she's finally listened, and sells refills for her pretty jars. I couldn't get over the heavy perfume, which my skin chemistry did not get along with. Revlon Super Lusteous lipstick shade "Rose Velvet" is identical to the original Pillow Talk lipstick.

I don’t think CT is overpriced if I’m honest. I’ve tried many different brands of drug store and high end makeup and hers is by FAR the best quality high end makeup there is. You get what you pay for and it’s definitely worth the price point in my opinion. A little goes a long way, especially where foundations are concerned and it lasts so so so much longer than any other so ends up overtime costing about the same per use as some drug store brands. In saying that, I do feel that in a calendar at that price point, the products should ALWAYS be full sized. I absolutely LOVE her mystery boxes though! If you’re wanting to try some things along with a free full sized gift with purchases(I got an airbrush foundation that is my all time fave at £65 and a full sized lipstick the last time I ordered) then mystery boxes from CT are amazing for that(though they still aren’t a cheap, but they do offer afterpay which is amazing!) ♥️♥️

In the past, I REALLY wanted to try that Magic Cream. I waited until Sephora had a sale and bought myself a jar. The smell-- oh nooooo --, it smelled like what one imagines an old shut in would smell like. I actually had to return it, because the smell didn't wear off, that odor just stayed put and wafted up my poor nose all darn day. I was so disappointed, having such excitement when I was finally able to purchase (afford) that Magic Cream; ruined because someone went crazy in the fragrance department. Yikes! On a side note, I know you don't like setting sprays, but girl, that is a lot of setting spray! Perhaps if you used a little less it may work better for you?

SETTING SPRAY TIP!!!! If you don't want a super wet face, but you want the benefits of the spray, just spray a beauty blender with the setting spray and press it all over your face. It helps melt any setting powder into your skin, and it drys quicker than just spraying it on your face. That's what I do!!

Oh yes girl this chest is exactly the same as last year EXCEPT for the handles..(my thought on that is they didn't sell all of last year's so they took the chests and switched the crystals to stars instead) I got last year's and this year's as well and was disappointed just like you.. As I have aged my lips have become less and less plump. I get a lip flip with botox. It is injected around the lip line, not in the lips. It causes your own natural lip to "pout" just a bit. It is amazing. It looks completely natural. No lip plumper injection that could make lips look fake.

YES she has expanded her pillow talk line, pillow talk is the name of the color but now she has pillow talk ll in different hues. Oh my gosh you have to do the Mario way of lining your lips, you only outline the cupids bow and 3/4 of an inch or so in length under your bottom lip then you bring the pencil inward onto your lips into the corner of your mouth. It is so easy and it works amazingly! Must try! There are tutorials on it now.
