Me neither. I can say that quality of my work is pretty high and yet I couldn`t sell a single render. Plus, I found a guy who was using renders and animations made by another guy(Who I know) and I have reported him to the Fiverr. And you know what happened? Nothing! The guy is still there. I even wrote this guys asked why he was using other people´s work to addvertise his work and the answer was: Well, my render are pretty much similar to those ones. And then he blocked me. My experience with Fiverr was really bad.

@@leodebrito5894 Damn what the fuck??? I mean in the end the buyers are gonna get scammed tbh, they wont probably gain anything by it except wasting time to make/set up the render and rendering it (if asked for a different render, im still sort of new to Fiverr). And ive noticed some sellers who have a bit worse renders than me have had a lot more commisions, its all up to marketing i suppose

I mean these are not bad and thanks for the video! But the one for 250 wasn't that good, unfortunately, especially for the price. He even left a floating bottle in the foreground :/

@@joaodelgado6696 For the quality they are delivering that's fine. Our renders usually start from 3000++ for one still, but not everyone can afford something like that ofc..

as a 3d modeller i really like the second one . Since it felt more like a concept art, if only the second one has higher range of z depth then it would look far more realistic while retaining that concept art feeling. Maybe a bit of camera distortion and the sunlight needed some extra saturation since it's etiher afternoon or sunrise they have that orange soft glow.

I liked the last render better, may be people are a bit low on that tender is because that didn't have the wide angle distortion so it looks a bit different. But the rendering is great in my eyes !
@moldycoconut2899

In my opinion, contour lighting was better on the second render and the using of hdri map, also good color and material selection. On the third render everything is too simple, it looks like a preparation for a full-fledged render, there are not enough textures and the niche for built-in lighting on the ceiling is poorly developed, but some good stairs and interesting study of the bar counter and nice glazing. Though there is a flying object on the bar counter, it's also a flaw. If you combine all the best of the second and third renders, you would get the perfect result.

I do some 2D work for a friend who is a commercial interior designer. I am not a professional 3D modeller but I am very familiar with high end 3D renders. ..but this has left me totally confused. What would an architect actually use these renders for? If it's for pitching purposes then in my experience a client interested in a space like that would be expecting someting much more detailed and exciting. None of these renders would cut it with a real world commerial client. I apologise if I totally missed the point and I understand that "architect" doesn't mean the same thing in every country and that there are different work flows. In my experience an "architect" would design the space, then an interior designer would design the interior and would be charging a fee proportionate to the fit out cost. The interior designer would be directing the 3D modeller. Are you saying architects are now delagating interior design to specialist renderers who make interior design descisions and that saving a couple of hundred dollars matters? I would really like to understand how this works because it seems so different to anything I've experienced. Sorry if I have come over as a grumpy old guy, that wasn't my intention.

@@PPedroFernandes I do archviz and get paid for it. If the 3rd artist delivered that in 3 days than the $250 might be justified as a quick concept. BUT 3 weeks! the modelling is really sloppy (follow the lines), the imported models are clearly free since they dont match at all. They are also all scaled wrong, like the table in the back is only a foot tall. The quality of it is in line with the two cheaper ones, and I think they even over-worked for the amount they got paid since they were much faster in delivering.

250$ is about 2-3 hours of work in countries like Germany, Norway etc for architectural/archviz work. Of course it seems much in comparison to prices from countries where 250$ is a decent weeks salary. International platforms like this are basically just repeating what a lot of manufacturing did in the last decades: outsourcing to asia being so cheap that domestic artists just get outpriced by incredible margins

I am an architectural visualizer in a top class studio and for me there are a lot of problems with the renders, and clearly with with the workflow. 1-Renders made with SketchUp should be killed with FIRE!! 2-These renders should not take more than 3 days(TOP)! 3-I dont think these renders went trough any post production. 4-You should be in contact with the person the whole time. 5-You never take a render right from the start.There should be at least 3 rounds of comments from your part and most times this will improve the render. 6-Your idea should never be represented by a single sketch. You should provide information about every material you want. There are a lot of things more that could be said about the renders. If you are hiring a freelancer better give him a simple interior, not a big empty space. You can compare these renders with professional made renders from studios like MIR,RedVertex,ZOA or DBOX and see the difference between a stay at home visualizer and a team of professionals.
