@MrJdsenior

@@marshall_hernandez Yes, I have. LOL And it seems the joke is also that most every beginning guitar student wants to make that one of the first, if not THE first song they learn. I saw one teacher say he told his student that was NOT the way to learn guitar. He said the student totally gave up the instrument in a few months and had gotten virtually none of the song either learned correctly or memorized. Some people are their own worst enemies. I've also seen at least one YT vid spoofing that old saw. It was quite funny, as I remember. One salesman in the vid said something like "don't do that, seriously, I mean STOP that". The guy in the vid playing "that guy" kept trying to put all kinds of different spin on it when they'd shush him, IIRC. It was well done.

I remember when it came out and I very much enjoyed it as one of my (not hugely large list of) favorites. There was SO much good music coming out about that time frame. When you had the likes of Steely Dan, Queen, etc. it was a good time for music, with new offerings almost every day, it seemed.

This was great, bringing in other musicians, giving them exposure. I especially liked that you kept your review of their work positive and constructive. In a public forum like KZbin it’s always important to support each each other. That being said, WHERE THE HELL DO YOU GET OFF DROPPING THE LAPUTA THEM TO REPRESENT JAPAN IN THE MIDDLE OF A NORD VPN PROMO DUDE? I’m not emotionally ready for that level of nostalgia!!

About that last Davie504 challenge, the one Davie504 said was really hard. I think I've listened to that solo about 20 times at least now maybe more. I would love to see what the full song sounds like. It's one of the best baseline solos I've listened to, it has such a nice melody. That one you wrote for your fiancee was pretty nice though too.
