For anyone coming here late, like me! Try wrapping an elastic band round the top of a stuck jar lid, I'm 71 and don't have a very strong grip, but it works for me. Or, put rubber gloves on. Lovely painting Suzanne, thanks for the video. ❤ from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Love so much how this turned out! So fun to hang out with you and work in my sketchbook at the same time! Oh and I’m exactly the same I cannot listen to music that I love - I think music is too emotional somehow for me and maybe you’re right it’s a similar part of the brain but my husband is a painter and he listens to rock ‘n’ roll all the time while he paints. Interesting!

thank you! It's just palette paper that comes in either white or gray. Either color is fine.

Great tutorial. What sizes of brushes did you use for the leaf/flower that was in dark blue with masking? I think I need to use smaller sizes like this to have more control.
