Painting this chair and putting it in my living room is the beginning of transforming my home for fall. Are you ready for the fall season? It's been sunny here in Seattle and hot enough to still need the AC. So, it's been hard to embrace fall yet. But I'm starting to feel it in the air. I hope you're having an amazing week! I bought a chair at ReStore for $5. To practice, Painted and waxed, following all directions. It turned out nice, then I took it back and donated it.

I wish that I'd watched this before I painted my headboard. I tried it with Fusion Mineral paint and it just disappeared into my fabric. I ended up using latex paint and it worked but I did about 4 coats.

Annie Sloan chalk paint is amazing. But I did learn a lesson in this video not to add the third coat, and not to paint silky type fabric. I share a video on it. I'm glad yours worked out in the end.
