if you flip the jacket inside out and iron it from five minutes stoping for 30 secs in between each minute it sets the paint

For future reference you can add rubbing alcohol to acrylic paint to make fabric paint, it just takes a few layers :)

You can turn acrylic paint into fabric paint by adding textile medium. That's what I use to paint my fabric items and its cheaper than tulip brand Another alternative is painting it then clear coating it with fabric mod podge which I have done as well

It turned out AMAZING. my only thought was maybe adding some lanterns or smth from tangled to the other sleeve to balance it out. But I totally agree - the sketchy, rough vibe to the art works perfectly with the denim, and you chose really really fun and well executed little tributes to Disney 🤗

Just a tip if you want to use fabric paints in the future, you should put down a layer or two of white paint, similar to a layer of gesso. It makes the colours a lot more vibrant and you don't have to do a million layers. They also make 'air erasable' fabric pens that you can sketch with and the marker disappears after a while. If you like your acrylics, they make fabric medium that you add to acrylics to make it less likely to flake off and more flexible, or you can simply heat set it with an iron.

I would have loved to see some lanterns on the pascal sleeve, since the balance is a touch uneven, given that the Pooh side has honey on the pocket, and bees, with a Pooh on the sleeve. The tangled side only has the flower/sun on the pocket, pascal on the same side and nothing on the sleeve. But the overall jacket is so cute!

I keep seeing you advertise it, and your hair just looks so nice. It was cheaper than what I expected for no sulfates/parabens and the customization!

I love your jacket idea! You mentioned you couldn't get paint out of your clothes. There is a way to get acrylic paint out of your fabrics and just about anything else. Depending on how heavily pigmented the item is, you may have to be patient and repeat the process several times. I teach art to middle schoolers and they can get pretty crazy. This stuff is truly AMAZING! It is "Krud Kutter Tuff Task". The spray bottle is yellow. You can get it on Amazon. Home Depot and Lowe's carry it but they are not consistent with where they place it. I have found it in the paint department when I couldn't find it in the cleaners section. There are several "Krud Kutter" products. I use both the red spray bottle and the yellow spray bottle. I think the yellow is best on fabric and the red actually gets paint splatter off walls and floors. To get more concentrated paint patches off floors and walls, use the yellow.

If you don’t like the Posca pens for sketching you can use color pencils or pastel pencils on denim! I saw you work on the painted area! It works on the denim too!

There is fabric medium you mix with acrylic paint. It makes the paint crack less and washable. That is how my mom and I painted tshirts back in the day. Just for anyone who like to do this themselves.

Most craft stores have a paint mix in that you can use with acrylic paints to make them into fabric paint. That way you can keep the pigmentation and still have fabric paint :)

You should try the kiwi crate art boxes. The doodle crate ones are more artist where as the kiwi ones are more scientific. They're on the same website, they're really cool. They're cheeper and high quality. Definitely recomend
