He reminds me a lot of my dad. He gave up everything raising 4 kids as a single father. So now that we're grown he gets spoiled. He's been to Hawaii 3 times in the last couple of years (he literally camps on the beach he loves it), my brother hand built him a motorcycle, I buy him cool guns and take him on hunting trips. We legit don't deserve him

As an ork player it does my heart good to see you react to the amount of mini's it takes to make an ork army.
@merccc14 ай бұрын
Yea... I knew I would want an ork army eventually... So I started making boyz from the 2018 kit as I figured they would take a ton of time and effort to get that green tide rolling... 7 of 120 to go... Just assembling... Takes me a good amount of time just cleaning the mold lines up and all that. xD Probably a long term project, and that is not including the other ork units eventually.

Honestly I'm stunned by the work you guys put into this gift, we've all tried painting too many models for the time left before an upcoming game and you guys went through ALL the pain and struggles I recognise. Looking at the models it's a masterclass in putting your time into the most impactful areas of the minis in the most impactful ways so that as a mass army they look genuinely striking. Such a great story, such a deserving guy, but all was only made possible by the enormous personal effort you put in. I'll go try Tacticus now using the link to thank the sponsor

The surge of excitement and happiness you showed in the approval of the sponsorship made me well up a bit. It's so cool to see these kinds of videos. And big props to Tacticus. Hope you guys always have this spirit and success

I am amazed at this army. I am a slow and methodical painter and I am impressed at how savvy prioritising and planning can produce impressive results. I tend to pick out each detail painstakingly but it's impressive how much of the character of a model can be brought out with such minimalism. I know that sounds a bit of a backhanded compliment but it's not intended to be so. It's inspiring to see that once the focal points of a model are painted well it just makes everything fall into place. You also reserved the cool detail work for the focal models. I am interested in painting models for other people and so I am paying close attention to how to make an army stand out without taking years to paint it. ❤

hey Boss.... totally random question from a stranger.... Can you paint these minis with pastels?.... this thought just jumped into my head... and rather than let it die a lonely death like all the others.... I actually want to know. part of me thinks that you will never be able to layer enough to make the colours look and feel real... and another part of me knows that the skin tones and 'vehicle use' would look 10x better do pastels even stick to these?
