When I get fines or tickets like this, I purposely overpay them by about $1.10 so they have to process a refund and send it back to me. Then I never cash the check which hopefully screws their books up. It might be minuscule, but it makes me feel better about myself.

thats ok, when I got arrested for... what was it? OH right, my tires made noise leaving a parking lot because my alignment was messed up so the cop pulled us over for a "Burnout" immediately demanded us out of our vehicles and we asked for a supervisor. We DID exit the vehicle and then he says we are under arrest for obstructing an officer (never happened) and since we didnt comply with the unlawful order to get on the ground, he pepper sprays us. I move back a bit from him when he did that and he rushes me again, sprays THEN says get on the ground and once im on the ground SPRAYS A 3RD FUCKING TIME and then puts us in cop cars pull a gun on my brother slam his bad knee to the ground, force his arm up trying to break it to get him to release the arm that was under him from when they tackled him to the ground then when they got him back to the cop car, instead of helping the person who told them he had a bad knee, they SLAM THE DOOR ON IT REPEATEDLY. Later on when they open the door again, he spits the OC spray out of his mouth and it happens to hit a cops boot so they REPEATEDLY slam the car door on his head. When the cop wrote up all the charges he said to me "Oh, and your taillight is out. I'm gonna get you for that too."

Revenue into the city/county/state coffers has no bearing on the paycheck of the policy enforcers (police) whether they give warnings or citations. It's already in the budget. Besides, how can an agent of the executive branch of the government summons someone to court when that's a duty of the judicial branch? A complaint needs to be filed, sworn to, and then an information/indictment/warrant issued. That's a violation of the Separation of Powers clause in the Constitution. But since you're such a scholar and a gentleman, maybe you can answer that. There must be an injured party. We're waiting for your answer....
