Greetings from Canada! Just know that things can (and likely will) get much worse. You guys don't seem to quite be at the 'tent city' phase, but it's right around the corner, and it still hasn't spurred action here, so at least you have that to look forward to

Already there except police were told by govt tp rrmove the tents. At least in US there is possibility of mobile home or tiny homes. Here just 1000k for a room under ruthless llords or tge pavement..any age too..if over 60 councils brraking law as there is a duty of care not applied..law of jungle. Wages are officially av 34k more like 21 to25k 20 year old wages unless high class professional or managers..😢😢😢😢

The landlord let her live there for twenty years, massively below market rate, costing him a fortune and enabling her to live in a much nicer area than her salary allows for a long period of time... He then asks her to leave after two decades for the seemingly fair reason of making way for his own child, and still he's the bad guy. You two are blinded by your ideology

Used to be done on a day rate but you could negotiate due to long-term onshore rental with little prospect of damage.
