This is what I have been doing with ziggs , it kind of feels like some games you have less agency but overall my gameplay is more consistent and have been slowly picking up how to land your spells more effectively and let me tell you my whole perspective changed when I stopped trying to hit people with the spells and started denying areas. Now I make an effort every game to already have backed a minute before objectives and cleared vision , the concept of having secured areas in which enemies want to encroach on is actually so simple yet so effective.

@@codplaque6924 please dont say your team feeds... youre enemies are just as bad as allies, laners should CS well, and especially adcs who dont have self peel should play extremely safe and not die much to all the shit the game throws at you. If you are in bronze you probably have many basics and wave management to learn, but by watching coaching you are already taking a step in the right direction. Try to find the mistakes clients do in your own gameplay, since its impossible to give advice through a comment saying your mates feed as soon as you open the map. Good luck, bronze isn't a place to be stuck for long if you try to improve and fix BIG mistakes

I'm a Gold 1 Lux main and this video made me realize I need to use ult way more on waves. I tend to hold on it too much hoping to get kills, but if it means I can get a whole wave that I otherwise couldn't without spending a ton of time in lane then that could be more worth. Ok so I did this strategy against an Akali too, but she was actually pretty good, mechanically at least. She kept roaming and getting kills everywhere. I just kept waveclearing, warding and roaming to some skirmishes. Although Akali was getting kills from the ganks she was doing, she kept missing wave after wave after wave, I took her tower early and ended the game level 16 while she was still level 13. I won, although my KDA wasn't as impressive (3/2/6 compared to her 12/6/2). I ended up with the highest CS in the game and had more money than her just from being on wave duty. Was actually pretty nice and chill. Although my team was probably tilted because they kept spam pinging, I was actually doing a lot more than her, even if it didn't look like it.

Not really, he recalled as soon as he got the idea to do so. If he had gone back to base slightly earlier, he would've still gotten the gold from the plate since he was close enough to register for it and in the valid timeframe.

You have to be within 2500 range if you have hit the turret or within 1200 when plate dies and you havent hit it. Only exception is rift herald, which will give gold to the one who spawns regardless of location

I think going minion dematerializer would make this strat a lot more effective for most people. Helps your E shoving so you can hold Q more in lane. Neace's opponents were rarely in a position to punish his Q greed farming but I think in many other games this would be a lot riskier, hence minion dematerializer being a valuable pickup.

Ive done it silver elo on Ekko, Lux, Ziggs etc and what happens is the enemy laner gets bored and goes for a bad roam timing but even if you ping it out the coinflip will often work anyways. I can pretty reliably be like 1/0/1, 100 cs, 1 or 2 level lead, 2/3 stack dark seal, and 2 or 3 plates at like 12 minutes into the game and team will spam ping cause they died to another pinged and warded roam or forced a bad dragon

Played 4 games of it. First 2 went quite well. Kinda carried. 3rd game my whole team including me fed ( I laned against a Talon OTP). 4th game I did rather well laning until the enemy team started camping and diving me with global ults, with my team getting toxic, making bad calls, getting aced and blaming me for positioning mistakes they themselves made. I think I'll go back to top lane.

I am a Plat Jungle main who climbed out of Gold and is still climbing now with this kind of mindset. I used to be a very bloody player. I got kills, but I gave them out too. Eventually I looked at the enemy score, and subtracted my deaths, and realized how much closer game would be if I just never died. So I just started clearing harder and playing super safe and it payed off.

there's actually a few melee mid laners that can replicate this playstyle too - ekko can just use q to waveclear after level 9, zed can w q e to waveclear even earlier. these 2 champs are also good for side laning after the laning phase - to counter the typical arams that happen every low elo game.

same bro and I just did the same a game today, played vs qiyana, jumping all around dodging my Q thinking I was trying to hit her, but I was just focus on wave lol once she overstepped I just Q E R and leave back or something, then my jungler passes by and got the kills lol he ended up having 16 kills that game and I had 7 kills by just farming and went botlane sniped their suppr (morgana) three times, then went back in lane to keep clearing Qiyana was good but still, she should've focused on the farm rather than going for kills, she had 16 kills but lost the game...not easy to keep playing when you have all those kills but end up getting one shot with lux standing still in lane :3 But I'm still improving and this strategy helped me most with one thing, PLAY CALM AND CHILL, just stay calm and enjoy the game. You can always win the game as long as you're chill and use your brain on how you can save a losing game or secure a win :D ! Even as lux support, I still go for the waveclear strat in mid/end game

If you have the ability to ranged clear the wave, it's probably viable in the midlane. The idea that you have to force fights, instead of fighting when it makes sense, coinflips games and neutralizes any advantage you gain from farming. Most midlaners love the carry fantasy and will force shit unnecessarily to get their montage plays. Farming like this can, as shown in the video, frustrate them to the point of making stupid plays that get them killed.

Sometimes I do this on sion when my team is hard losing. Just move from tower to tower clearing waves and proccing heartsteel. Can stall the game out for a really long time and get to 10k hp.

This strategy works great, the one thing to say though is early farm lead depends heavily on jungler involvement. If ekko repeat ganked it / covered would have forced you not to pressure akali in lane / under tower which would hinder your lead early game. Though you can catch up pretty fast mid game with a few team fights. Also the aram game that happens messes with this kind of farm as well.

The thing is, you taking the junglers camps in low elo could trigger the jungler to afk or feed. That's just how people act. Also just focussing on farm and not helping team at drags etc will make the enemy team fed and even if you have a lot of farm in many cases it will cause a lose..

I was Lux vs Anivia just to try this out and it was the same reaction from Anivia. She did get some solo kills on me early because I don't know how to play vs Anivia well, but even when I was 0/6 because I focused so much on the farm and I had TP I just never fell behind in XP much, so I eventually managed to solo kill her anyway. When I just kept shoving her in with ult and so on, she started to freak out and realized she couldn't play aggressive but spend her abilities on the wave, which was hilarious, because she went flash and ignite so she was obviously only interested in being aggressive, not be forced to spend abilities on wave control. Because I had TP, I did a good TP play where Wukong got ganked top and died before dragon, so I hard shoved the wave and Anivia went to collect the farm, turning the dragon fight into 5v4. It was an easy win from there, especially as our bot was hard winning.

The way this mindset makes you play the game seems to be better in lower elos, imo. As you climb up it can and mostly will be an issue because it may set up some bad habits such as prioritizing a low amount of cs over moving up earlier/faster to a potential skirmish or an upcoming objetive, it can also make you become less willing to make roams which some games you'll need to do because either either your lanes will be behind or the opponent might outscale since the game will usually be longer on average, when using this playstyle. Not all games we can just sit mid and farm for 20mins till we get our spikes, and i think that's where the biggest flaw comes in on this specific playstyle.

Well solo queue isnt pro play so u dont have to do this since enemies committ tons of errors so abuse those errors and male urself a lead

You have to respond to that scenario. If, for example, your bot lane goes 0/2 you have to stop that bleeding, same goes to any other lanes. The reason they are 0/5, its because you are not carrying and from 0/5 they will be 0/10 if you do not respond. Neace: You are the bus driver, your teammates are the passengers

Play the numbers game dude... If you're consistently ahead like this you're a consistent advantage to a 50-50 everywhere else on the map, you'll climb. It's just easier to remember frustrating teammates than good ones.

When I first started playing league two years ago I tried a similar play strategy with ziggs agaisnt a yone i think. The dude was super pissed it was really funny. I was a super nervous player back then (still kind of am) but my bf at the time assured me pissing him off with it was just playing right XD

Yes, because it's easy for Lux to break a freeze once she is level 6 as she can just throw an ult over the minions that are holding the wave on the opponent's side, and it should break the freeze instantly.

this is the same playstyle for xerath except with xerath you have mana sustain with passive and sacrifice mobility. but you do support well once you have ult

@NEACE This is a very good question, What if the enemy team has aniva or a good wave clear so if you shove in waves they shove back so no one is pushing at all. another question would be what if this is bad because if shoving waves meaning you are feeding them gold as they have waves to farm under tower?

If both of you insta clear its normally coinflip since none of you get an edge and your team decides the winner. The point of instant shoving is also to be able to get side waves and camps in mid game, its fine to hold freeze in early but against most mid champs its difficult to hold freeze and it will be fine to push under turret (only midlane tho since its so short). Also shoving waves doesn't mean feeding them gold, low elo players will even struggle to CS every minion under turret, and while neace didn't, you'll be able to poke at them while they have to CS. This video isn't a tutorial to play league, there is no such thing, it just shows how to win lane and game just by getting perfect CS.
