I Platinum'd Elden Ring + DLC... It BROKE Me

I'd never played a Souls game before, and I challenged myself to not only platinum Elden Ring, but beat every boss in the entire game, no summons, no consumables. All the deaths on tough bosses are worth it when you triumph 1 v 1 fair and square. I'm in Shadows of the Erdtree now with the same rules and still having a great time. Faith build FTW.

Midra's delayed attacks are extremely well telegraphed and fair in my opinion, I was hesitant since he's a status effect boss, but the flame attacks are shockingly easy to dodge, unlike a certain dragon that spews an almost undodgeable fire column at you, Bayle is cool but screw that one attack in specific

​@@delaneycharlie4521 Dark Souls 3 Bosses (except for DLC) are a joke to Elden Ring bosses. I literally killed every boss in max 10 tries. They were fun and all but for me it was a bit disappointing( difficulty whise ) because I had thought that it would have been harder. Dont just go with the flow, Elden Ring may seem the easiest to some because you can just get a fk ton of loot and get OP quickly without killing a single boss. The player can choose it to be this "easy" tho it isnt very fun this way to the most. Elden Ring was made for everyone.People who are crazy good, or playing Elden Ring as the first Souls-game. That is also why there are sooo many Items you can use for your advantage, Buffs, summons etc. Now that the DLC is out people complain that it is too hard💀💀 and leave bad reviews, that may scare away some new players.

I'm the type of player who would much rather spend 3 hours grinding levels to help me beat a boss than spend 3 hours banging my head against a boss trying to perfectly learn their moveset. This led to me being overlevelled against most of the games' later bosses, so I only really struggled with Malenia. Maliketh took 3 tries, Placidusax took 1 (and I didn't even have all my flasks available because I didn't realize I was starting his fight), Hourah Loux took 2 tries I think, Gideon was 1, Radagon/Elden Beast took 1. Anyway, I highly recommend doing some extra levelling if you're stuck. It makes the game much easier.

Fighting Mesmer and I can say that having the boss door in front of a grace is probably more annoying than running to placidusax. Something about getting clapped, running back in and getting clapped again in 10 secs rlly pisses me off. Having a run kinda gives a little chance to regroup. Mesmer just knows you stand no chance lol

Tip for Placidussax : Use Malikeths remembrance to get the Malikeths black blade . It deals crazy damage to Placidussax with the skill "destined death"

@@Arumia13 I am pretty sure you can make a backup save at the end of the playthrough, before doing the requirements of the 3 endings. So you don't have to do 3 full playthroughs, just load the save and do the next ending

ER plat is a joke compared to the other souls games. Queen yahrnam from BB, grinding covenants in all 3 games, going to NG++ for Rings in DS3, making boss weapons in ds1.

Idk if its different on steam but at least when i got the platinum in PS4 I had to go ng++ and the the whole story again each for a diff ending since it didn't count unless I entered the sign or interacted with Radagon for the cinematic for each ending. So Idk about the vid if its even legit that he got the platinum since I have no idea how the steam trophies are.
