What's up guys!!! I have something a bit different for you guys today. While I'm working on my retrospective for Saints Row 4, I wanted to give trophy hunting videos a try. I've been enjoying these types of videos recently and having been hunting for platinum trophies for years. I figured Saints Row 4 would be the perfect video to try this with.

Ironic how this shows up right as I completed this platinum today, but I can completely agree that that last trophy is AWFUL what made it worse was that i couldn't leave my ps4 on over night so i had to spend like 3 days on it, but other than that, this was actually really fun to play

bro how did you unlock the "switch hitter" trophy, did you do it on the same day i.e. 2 hours with a male one and 2 hours with a female one or in general? because it's the last trophy I need to platinum SR4

Ps plus was giving the game away for free so i said what the hell play it again. Played it years ago on the ps3 but coming back to it felt way funner than before. The superpowers in the game make you feel invinsible. After the intro i spent my time getting all the territorys, clusters off the roofs and getting gold medals for all the activities. 25 hours in 89% completed game and i have 60% of all the trophies Ill have it all wrapped up by 40 hours for the last trophy

It was a fun platinum and fun game! This one gets a lot of hate but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Go get that platinum man!!!

I did the same thing with this game. Last year, I went back to Saints Row IV on PS3 years after leaving it unfinished due to me losing interest in the game. The powers made the gameplay less enjoyable in my eyes. So I went back and replayed it from the start (on Easy just ot get it out of the way) and got the platinum in less than a month. I was lucky to have the online trophy out of the way so I didn't have to stress over it. The kill related trophies were a CHORE. I, sadly, had to buy DLC just to unlock the last few kill counts due to me finishing the game and not finding as much enemies after finishing the story. All and all, I'm glad I finished the trophy list and I don't see myself replaying this game again.

You’re lucky you got that “where’s my cape?” achievement/trophy first try. I did two extra 12-13 hour playthroughs just to get that achievement, just because it was bugged. From my experience and from what I’ve heard from others about this bug, is that it’s something about sprint speed upgrades and jump height upgrades sometimes not counting early game, and I also heard that gat’s loyalty mission also messes with it somehow. So if you encounter the bug or just want to guarantee you get it first try, the safest bet is to just not buy any powers until you are lvl 50, have all the clusters you need, have completed The Kinzie Gambit, and not completed any loyalty missions.

Hmmm…interesting. I wasn’t even aware this trophy was glitched. I don’t remember where I was in the game when I unlocked that trophy so I probably did just get lucky with it. Having to do multiple playthroughs for that one trophy must’ve been rough. I’ve been there and it’s not fun

@@VandoM22 It’s been a bug since the old gen version of the game, and got carried over to the newer version. The devs apparently couldn’t replicate the bug, so it was never patched unfortunately.

I’m pretty sure it only glitches if you buy all upgrades before the mission “kinzies gambit”

The achievement to kill 25 aliens with dub step gun , etc is glicthed for me, ive got every othet achievement so all challenges done as well but it still wont pop 😢

Im doing this platinum actually but damn you play like a speedrun i have 24hrs and 80% of the game, less of half challenges and without dlc, i think i dont have to grind death time for 40hrs trophy 😂

I was not aware of a bug😅. I actually had no crashes at all when I played SR3 on PS5. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones

I got this a few months ago but unfortunately do not remember the exact steps to unlocking it. Yeah, spent another combined like 25-26 hours across 2 extra playthroughs until I got it. The safest and guaranteed way to get it is to not buy any powers until you’ve lvl 50, have all the clusters you need, and have completed The Kinzie Gambit. Also, to make sure to not do any loyalty missions, I heard something about gat’s loyalty mission messing with the trophy.

This was one of my earlier videos so I didn’t consider dlc trophies at the time. Now I’m getting a little better when it comes to including DLC trophies in the video and just completing them in general.
