Man, it's such a shame this game didn't last. I legitimately had a blast playing this and literally played it every day. I maxed out every battle pass, and made it a point to try and unlock every cosmetic as it became available. Ever since the game was canceled, the developers have been showing concept art for the characters and stages that were being planned and it makes me hate Activision even more. No wonder Toys for Bob broke away from them and went Independent.

JT, I'm a new fan. I started with your Crash series and have been exploring since! I'll tell you what, I went from Xbox, to Switch, to Switch + PS5 and trophies have been super fun. Granted I only have 1 platinum. I was considering doing the N. Sane Trilogy and maybe Crash 4 but WOW. After I saw the length of time it took you I am reconsidering maybe just 100% and calling it there. Lol. Great content! And thank you for scratching the itch in my brain for data related times when completing games! Love it!

That defeat screen is an absolute nightmare. This game itself isn't really that good or fun, but what's even worse is that it always tends to put you in teams where you lose horribly, or win by barely scraping by. Out of every game I have ever bought this has to be one of my biggest regrets. Also Trent reminds me of those players that are only good at one game so they sit on it nonstop everyday so they don't ever have to play another game and possibly lose and hurt their ego, for example "luv2bandicoot" I remember playing with when the game first released or around first release. You see people like that all the time on Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled and old Call of Duty games. It makes enjoying "old" games 10x as annoying.

These kinds of games are almost always DOA. People aren't willing to pay for online only pvp games anymore. Not when the likes of apex, fortnight etc exist. These games only have a chance as a f2p game and it's sad because this did look like fun but I could tell that it wasn't going to kick off even with a massive IP like crash.

I don’t believe either of them have trophies, but they do both have Xbox achievements. Unfortunately they’re both only playable on 360 and they aren’t backwards compatible on Series X for some reason and I don’t have a 360 so can’t really do them.

I actually enjoyed Crash Team Rumble. It's currently the only Crash Platinum I have (because I suck at time trials 😅). I do agree that it shouldn't have had so much "live service" nonsense with paywalls since the game wasn't free. I wish Toys for Bob had been given another year or two to work on perfecting the game. While there are two different modes within the game, it's ALL online. Something that I think could have salvaged the game, and sold more copies, is if they had added something offline, or allowed couch co-op. I loved Crash Bash on the PS1 back in the day and I would've loved to see this evolve into something like that.

Hard blocking bank isn’t really trolling, If the enemy team can’t regularly beat a blocker camping bank that’s going to be the best possible spot for a blocker to stay the entire match. In order to defeat a blocker on bank you either gotta fight them solo, coordinate an attack with team members (not always possible depending on random team members, much easier when playing in a full group of friends), or gain control of major relic stations to force the blocker off. If team can’t accomplish any of that, you don’t stand much of a chance.

ehhh you got the facts wrong for why they dropped support... the free too play stuff like a paid battle pass n stuff isn't why the dev team toys for bob going indie is why and so they couldn't continue making support... not what ever you said in this video, and with microsoft no longer being able to fund the game they kinda couldn't, they had a season 4 planned and everything, even some of the skins that were gonna be in the battle pass and new season features were data mined, the lay offs + them going indie is the actual reason

To think they made this game and not a remake of Crash Bash, the first party like game of Crash for the ps1, that game was a blast and it actually had a story mode. OK just got to say, your completely wrong about why this game was canceled. This game was canceled because of Activision. The game is actually fun if you don't hate having fun and to this day still has a healthy playerbase.
