The reason for negative edge being more consistent for special moves is because of the pressure sensitive buttons. It had to read how hard you hit the button and then on release the game will throw your button out

KOF '98 is hands down my favorite fighting game (I look foward to seeing what you think of it). My favorite characters to play as are Ralf Jones and Iori Yagami in any of the KOF games too. Also I recently tried MK11 and that's been a surpsingly fun experience, especially when playing as Sub Zero. I look forward to seeing the rest! (Also you should try out Fire Emblem 8... I heard there is a cool character called Caellach in that game.)

Interesting! I’ve only recently tried some of the KOF games and I own 98 and 02 on GOG but haven’t played them much yet. I have played a few hours of XIII and that is one of the most visually stunning fighting games in my opinion. I actually haven’t played MK 11 any, I’m excited to get to that one. Some of the guest characters in that look awesome, like Spawn. Who is this Caellach you speak of???? 😉 Thanks for watching!! ❤
