@henrique61010 ай бұрын
Great video! Would love to watch a 200 days too Some tips you might want: - You don't need to have both a science machine and an alchemy engine in your base. An alchemy engine is like an upgrade of the science machine and a shadow manipulator is an upgrade of the prestihatitator - Try to explore more of the map to know where the resources are (going around the edges is usually a good strategy for that) - You can dig graves but it reduces your sanity - You should try to craft a ham bat, it does some pretty good damage and the durability decreases with time instead of attacks - You might want to know about football helmets, they have less durability than Wigfrid's helmets, but are cheaper to craft - You can dodge Deerclops attacks by going around him - Don't try to fight Dragonfly without preparation, she was a lot of health and does a lot of damage, you will die - If you pick a character that is not Wigfrid, you can eat cooked green mushrooms (be careful not to eat it raw) or cooked cactus for sanity - Visit that statue that you found a pan flute near during a full moon - Build an ice flingomatic in your base before summer About the caves: It is a whole new area of the game. There is a kind of a way to "clear" it, but it involves going into a really dangerous place called The Ruins. It has a lot of useful resources for magic items but it requires a lot of skill to survive
@Babaganuush10 ай бұрын
Thank you and a hell of a list! I've used the ham bat and the football helmet before (I did in my first video) but I didn't think about the cost to durability-ratio. Yeah I got to hear about the ruins in another comment for this video, I didn't see it but it sounds dangerous 😅 If I do a 200 days video and die before summer I'll change the settings so that I will experience summer at least once at least.

Can I ask what that means? My head can’t wrap around the fact that something called “lag compensation” is apparently making lag worse? 😂
@ujlt71983 ай бұрын
@@HerHollyness It's a type of predictive movement, where if you're walking one direction, you'll keep moving that direction. It's supposed to compensate for lag that would otherwise stop your character in their tracks when you're playing on someone else's server. Otherwise, it just makes it really difficult to control your character's movements, cause the game is trying to control them for you based on what it assumes you're doing. Hope this helps!

WIGFRID! I actually played my longest run ever, as her (over 600 days). GO, WARRIOR! VALHALLA AWAITS! --Oh, you started in Hallowed Nights time! I _love_ this stuff. Halloween goes PERFECTLY with this game. --Nope, you start defaultly on the first day of fall, in Don't Starve Together. Those ice puddles will start _firming up_ as the days go on, towards Winter. "A reverse ostrich joined the rave." As they do. --Fires last much longer in DST/Reign of Giants, and have a heat effect on characters nearby. Willow doesn't mind that. Everybody else does. --HOLY CRAP you've got an infestation! Oh, your first time meeting Volt Goats! "Aww, look at her. She has two husbands. :)" --Yep, water is a mechanic in the game from Reign of Giants onwards--and Don't Starve Together uses Reign of Giants' mechanics, unless you specifically tell it not to in the settings. --You has a present in the corner. :) TARDIGRADES? well, I guess that's one way to describe the big beetle-y ish shadow monster thing. "It's VEEGfrreed, you bongo!" r/rareinsults. --You should absolutely make fishsticks once you get a crockpot. They are good stuff. +30 HP. A way to preserve ice? Why not make...an ICEbox? Yes, this game has refrigerators. Oldschool ones. :) --The giant beehive is actually an okay neighbor...as long as you DON'T mess with it. --TABLE!! Buddy! The creepy walking table is actually called The Stagehand. I like to lure it back to my base on purpose, to freak people out. :) I decided that Willow would just call it "Table". --I HATE that the thermal stone has a durability in Don't Starve Together! That's the first thing I modded out. :P Mostly I play vanilla, but having to constantly rebuild my rock bugs me. I love your whole way you Dramatically Introduce every new boss or miniboss: Swirling around like you just opened a present, and: "DEERCLOPS" or "SPIDER QUEEN". Very cool. --Your singing while playing "Wilfrid" ("It's WIGFRID, you idiot!") is kind of appropriate--because she was an actor in operas, back in the real world. Yeah, this game has lore. A lot. --You took care of two mini-bosses, fairly close together! (The Spider Queen and the Varg.) Sweet! Farming in Don't Starve Together is better than in regular Don't Starve in one major, important way: YOU CAN STILL FARM DURING WINTER. "Of course a killer bee could go to Valala, they're warriors of a sort! Why not?" Yeah! "I like burning things..." says Wigfrid, releasing her inner Willow. --Yeah, the game always starts in fall and it turns to winter on Day 21, every time, unless you mess with the settings. --Hey, we just saw Wigfrid actually do a dramatic opera note on the stage! Cool. You oughta see her do the "Carol" emote. With her voice being the way it is, it's.....something, to behold. XD Again, I hope you don't mind my ramblyness. I love this game and love seeing people try it for the first time, especially when they do clever/funny commentary like you do. So I had to write a lot of commentary myself. :)

The UI one I mentioned in the above post just because it's so much better to know when you are about to freeze or overheat by looking at your temperature. Then I use geometric placement to be able to set items down in a straight line more easily mostly just giving my base a nicer look. Then the final one is Wormhole Colors, and that's just to save sanity and time when I have 10 different wormholes I at least know which one goes where. Hope this helped a little !!!

preferably as an expert, I would say that you choose either Wendy because she can summon her dead sister as a huge help throughout the 100 days and can deal with spiders easily, or Woodie who can transform into three animals the moose, the goose, and the beaver but will also transform into a random animal from the three in full moons. And he is CANADIAN.

This was a wonderful watch. I enjoyed all the editing you did throughout. Definetly showcases the quality of the video. Pretty sure found all the youtubers too! As a suggestion for next time, I would say that you should research your options way more in terms of items. There are definetly many items in this game and some do similar stuff, but only one of them are the best option probably. Aside from that, yeah dont starve together is made for multiplayer, but if you know what you are doing, the game will be easy for you even solo including bosses. Thus I reccomend you to not download the scaling mod you mentioned. But there are many mods that give information in real time without spoiling things which could give you a deeper understanding of the game and obviously make you better at it. I reccomend you to check some of those out instead. Once you really get a grasp of everything, you can disable said mods because the information is within your head at that point lol. Ps: do turn lag compensation off. It sucks. Also try the option backpack location integrated Edit: This game is LONG and its cryptic af in some parts. There is an actual full on progression route that you probably wont find yourself unless you play for at least 2000 hours lol. If you ever need a spoiler free nudge in the right direction hmu. Also wondering what other games you could tackle in the future if you continue this youtube thing. Hopefully the public catches on and gives you the views you deserve haha. Goodluck on your journey.
@Babaganuush10 ай бұрын
Hell yeah, glad it didn’t disappoint! Personally I loved the Charlie one, made myself chuckle with that one haha. I think it might be tough finding a good middle ground trying to google some things without spoiling one self too much. Someone did tell me about another mod for actually helping with the lag that I seem to experience, something one could do as well as disable the lag compensation (or enable, whichever one it is) I’ve heard that there is a way to finish the game but I have no idea where to begin with that one, but it might be too hard to stumble upon it myself. If you have any suggestions or requests regarding games, hmu. I did sneak into the chat once in a while to see what you guys where chatting about, some of the replies made me laugh hard.

@@Babaganuush Hope you did not see too much of us getting mad at you while you were in chat haha. You putting twigs in every meal was a big one which lowers the food value most of the time. Game suggestions are a hard one because there are just so many. The factors of youtube viability and if you will play it complicates things too. Aside from this heavily edited content you are doing right now, something more casual and raw could help break the long silence. Ill give some suggestions. Outer wilds: my favorite game of all time. You need to be absolutely spoiler free for this. Sanabi: Cute short platformer with tight gameplay fun bosses and surprisingly good narrative. Hollow knight: You alerady know. A masterpiece imo. (not good for youtube because its so long) Celeste: The ultimate platformer imo. Dead cells: My favourite rougelite of all time. Hard as balls. Smooth combat is its strongest point Epic battle fantasy 5: if you are into turn based rpgs with character building and enemy weaknesses with depth this game is a homage to that type. Does almost everything right. Dont know how it could work as videos though. Secrets of grindea: A truly secret and unknown gem. Topdown rpg with many skills to choose from to build your character. Has that indie feeling detail and is full of secrets, duh. Great bosses. The surprisingly kliche but well executed story is the cherry on top. Bonus: if you get some friends lethal company is super popular right now which could give you a nice boost.
@Babaganuush10 ай бұрын
Not at all, I more or less laughed because of it! I saw one comment like “this guy and his bee’s” and another one like “he’s going for the bee’s again without planting any flowers isn’t he?!” Haha and I sure did do all those things 😂 had no idea you could plant flowers! Yeah I’m going to do more “raw content” like I’ve done before but with more editing for the sake of pacing, but not with a ton of “post commentating”. I should also perhaps start doing some research for new popular challenges, games and topics that might be interesting to get some new eyes on the channel as well, I just need to learn how to do that; like everything else haha. A bunch of games on that list that I’ve not heard of tbh. I would like to play through God of War 4 and 5 but I don’t think that will help the channel in any way as that’s a really saturated game, but I haven’t played them and I’ve played all the others. I might keep them and just play them for myself during evenings for some relaxing.
