I mean, I'll be honest, I was/am a little skeptical. The very start already mentions that mods are clearly allowed and that already opens the door to "maybe there's one more mod in there". Then you get some insane luck in the +3 fishing food just being available in 1 of the like 8 chances you get in that month AND then she gets the best ring just casually fishing? In the end I really don't care, but that's a lot of luck.

⁠an iridium band is a .12 percent chance from chests. that’s about a 1/833 chance. admittedly, that is very rare, but it’s not statistically impossible, or else it wouldn’t be a drop. sometimes it’s just luck

@@dowfreak7 the food is a nearly 2% chance lol, while the ring is rarer that isn't some absurd luck. people have gotten luckier on games where it's entirely impossible to cheat the system (ala games like wow) moreover, like basically every other game there is RNG manipulation, pro players count their steps (alongside a few other tricks) specifically for that purpose, it's entirely within reason that due to the way she's playing she unintentionally messed with RNG and what's on the market due to things like steps taken

YES! i love this! Also, to let you know - you can get the void mayo from fishing where you catch the void salmon and then just give it to the guard to complete the quest. also for the Ancient Seed, just kill bugs on like level 15 or so of the regular mines. You’ll get it in no time. I always end up with like 10 after a day or so.

tbh marrying haley in the first year is pretty easy- i did it my first playthrough by accident, but it was purely because i gave her two daffodils a week, one on her birthday, which got her heart level high enough to dance with at the spring dance, then i continued to gift her

If you ever want to do this challenge again in the future there are a couple tips that might help smoothen things out a bit for the early game: TL;DR: Get the training rod on day 2 and fish all day to power level to level 3-4 fishing(focus on perfect catches) for easier catfish catching on day 3; don't bother getting rid of stumps early on, it's too high a cost for too little return; buy 1 copper ore between days 1 and 4 to get the furnace and pickaxe upgraded ASAP for easy mine progress or gather enough gold for pickaxe upgrade on day 3-4(6625g if you by all the resources); don't bother greeting everyone right away, instead focus on 1 or 2 people you want to befriend/marry to get their quests on the board more often and use the festivals to greet everyone and gifting. 1) On Spring 2 get the training rod ASAP, then focus on casting right away and getting perfect catches. You can only get 2 types fishes there which are really low difficulty so you can easily reach level 2 fishing before Willy closes, eating the seaweed, JojaCola, and low value fish for energy. You can then sell your entire haul to Willy before he leaves(5 PM) and you should be able to make 500-800G, more than enough to afford a Trout Soup for the energy and fishing buff. If you farmed and shipped a lot of resources the day before(clay, wood, stone, etc.) you may even be able to buy the fiberglass rod on that same day, with either of those 2 things you can keep fishing until you pass out and get all the way to level 3-4 fishing while catching a lot of pretty valuable fish without penalty for the next day, hold onto them until you reach level 5 if you want extra profit. 2) Following the previous tip, if you did the power leveling on day 2 then the next day you should be perfectly capable to get a bunch of catfish and reach fishing level 5 for a good influx of cash. 3) Don't bother cleaning the stumps on your 1st day, they give almost no wood and XP and you don't have the energy to spare so just leave them be. They will also keep spreading seeds which is great since you can dig them to use later either for replanting or making field snacks which are a pretty valuable early game energy source. 4) You can wait until the egg festival to greet the villagers(or any other one for that matter). In fact, it would be recommended to do so as it allows you to focus all your attention on raising your friendship with just 1 or 2 villagers of your choice by reducing the number of potential requests that you can get on the board; it's also much easier to just keep track of 1 person's schedule and gift preferences rather than 13 or so. 5a) Get the copper pickaxe ASAP. The faster you can break ores and stones the easier it would be to make progress on the mines. 5b) Now this one might be too min-maxy for your purposes but, if you think you can gather 6625g by day 3(which is possible, but again, it's quite grindy) I would definitely recommend you to go for the pickaxe upgrade right away(2000g for the upgrade + 500g for the stone to make a furnace, + 3375g for the copper + 750g for the coal), that way you can get your upgrade on day 5, just in time to start digging in the mines. The less grindy way would be to just buy a single copper ore between days 1 thru 4 to get the furnace recipe right away so you can craft one as soon as you get the resources for it when you start exploring the mines and smelt the cooper bars using the ore and coal you gathered every time you get to an elevator floor. If you do that and you have the 2000g just go get the upgrade since you probably have other things to do on days 6 and 7 like catching the other spring fish for the achievement or gathering foragables and such. I hope this could be of help to you or anyone else to reach their "100 day challenge" goals a little easier. Happy farming.

I love videos like this, thank you so much! New player, decided on oct 24 to give it a go, already at 50 hours gameplay and in love with the game. I am very bad at gaming and normaly rather watch bc of how bad I am but enjoy gaming… bad at combat and skills and in games where you are free to do whatever you want just stop bc I am overwhelmed and the game starts complaining how bad you are. Constant “you lose - you died - game over” will get on your nerves bc ppl like me dont get better at it, we just not quick and gifted hahaha. This game tho…. Truely amazing, you have goals but you can do whatever you want and take your time, the game lets you choose your own adventure and as a starter its absolutely amazing how deep this all goes. Watching pro players can mess with your mind tho… think all us needed the guide to complete something and most videos start with you NEED to do this or that and complete community center in year one, if you dont complete this you fail… well no, thats not true at all, next year you get another go at it and you didnt loose! People like me who suck at games like some guidance like videos like yours, so many tips, no forcing or telling us that we suck hahaha, tips and showing us how it can be played without the stress of everything needs to be perfect! In my opinion you are a pro player! And sort of made me feel confident and happy with how I wanna play this and my plan is to do it in 5-10 years, I am not in a rush and wanna experience every in peace and relax. You show us that it’s supposed to be fun even when you set this little challenge for yourself!
