Apparently most of Y’all commenting didn’t actually watch the video so I’ll TLDR it for you: Fuck ton of bugs, no fixes for prominent issues like team sizes, copy paste/lazy subtree and top tier premiums, a lack of substantial content outside of Fox-3, and increased BR compression for planes facing Fox-3 aircraft which don’t receive them

Hot take, i like the fox 3 meta. Not that its all a bvr slinging mess but more that you have to be VERY aware of whats happening and the environment becomes extremely unforgiving when you make a mistake. The challenge in navigating through this age of hyper lethal weapon systems is kinda enjoyable in a hardcore/souls-like way.

I feel like War Thunder will suffer with higher tech vehicles unlike the way DCS does. In DCS there's a lot more to lose if you die. In War Thunder, its always about easing the grind.

I think to combat missiles such as fox 3’s they should do something like DCS where certain armaments are banned in game modes like only banning fox 3’s so vehicles without them such as uptiers or stock grinds. It would also introduce a new style of fighting that has t been seen in these planes.

as someone whos still on propellor planes, the more i see top-tier fights, the less i wanna get to top-tier. even tho im mostly ground rb and barely play air. cause from what im seeing the gameplay goes as follows: "you get a missile, you get a missile, everyone gets a missile!"

You don't want to get to top-tier. Early jets are just llike props with bigger max speed, korean war jets are the peak of jets gameplay (even though you start to see some missiles), the rest of it is simply brain dead gameplay. War Thunder was created to host sub sonnic planes / jets with no missiles, that's why toptier isn't fun because the gameplay hasn't changed (same goes with ground toptier)
