I Played 12 Pokemon Map Randomizers AT THE SAME TIME

I attempted to beat 12 games of Pokemon Emerald at the exact same time. Except, my games are modded so that every door in the game leads to a randomized loading zone! By pairing controls to each game, I had to navigate 12 separate characters that didn't always want to cooperate. Will I be able to find and defeat all gym leaders and members of the Pokemon League? Watch the video to find out!
This is not a Nuzlocke, as you will see through my failed battles. I also allowed resetting through save states to prevent softlocks.

I can tell you honestly - it’s not going to happen 😂. Keeping track of everything for this challenge was a lot - trying to manage 12 different seeds would be close to impossible!

Prediction for the mystery thirteenth game; an really high level starter in a really odd place! - Have you considered for a future one of these running more than one mystery game in the background? (eg. 10 playthroughs you can see, and 5 you can't see) - Would be interesting to see if they all end up in a similar place to each other, or if they end up in wildly different locations. Either way, I love this video series, it's very amusing.

Good stuff, just one small thing, you can find out which Pokemon Center you’re in by checking the map off to the right. That’ll tell you what city you’re in. Then if you catch an Abra or a Ralts or something for Teleport, you can use it to warp back to whatever city that Pokemon Center is in

Loved it. The only gripe I had was that I feel like all the games should have had to save state and load at the same time so they were all truly being controlled at the same time. Other than that I feel that all the rules were reasonable. Pause buffering is really smart and absolutely within the rules, and save states are a necessity.

Prediction for 13: I think it'll make it farther than usual just based on the fact that the warps are random, but I still doubt it'll do anything impressive like catch a Pokemon or beat a trainer fight. Outcome: Meteor Falls isn't bad. That's still your second city, which is something. And level 7 even! Wow, 13.

The 13th game, you will be literally anywhere with a level 5 starter and nothing else

Assuming that the 13th game is using the same seed and settings as the other 12, it's probably going to be hopelessly lost somewhere without even having beaten a single gym leader. They might end up with an obscenely overleveled starter as a result, but they'll be too lost to do anything meaningful with it.

I do wish that the inputs themselves synchronized better. It's one thing for RNG to be a factor (like, NPCs walking around the world for example), but the way that one "right" input doesn't always work across both games (let alone 12 games) is annoying

Just run separate instances of the emulator you're using and tell each window to continue receiving inputs when they aren't the primary window.

I've watched a lot of map randomizers, and maybe it's just the way you edited the video, but you seemed to get really, really lucky with this. I mostly say that because your biggest problem would've been solved by catching a Ralts or an Abra, which were both on routes you had access to.
