For my experience solo with random team is 60 or 70% bad because of trying camping/running away all the way to Top 5 or 'win' that not gonna work on Plat even in Diamond instead of make a plan to engage and survive to get more point.

Use Valk. Don't ever drop hot. If master jumps you hot off rip. Dont go with them. Tell them your landing beside hot zone. Be prepared to run from bad situations.... Stay for good ones. Like if your teamate downs an enemy you gut it out. If they go down and don't do damage... You run... Its that simple. Pray theyre a support legend and ULT if u have to, to crafters Valks passive sees all enemys around crafters..... Her ult upgrade is stupid op u can see people IN BUILDINGS in ult but i go for her other upgrade on jets....... More useful....

I've only solo queued ranked in this second split, and as soon as i hit platinum (on OCE servers) i automatically run into top 200 preds basically every game, and it was very hard to get to diamond, ngl.

On frankfurt servers it is broken because of low player count. For example, there are not enough players to fill plat lobby, so the game throws in preds and master to launch the match

last time i played ranked cheaters started popping in around plat 2 (eu lobbies) i remember eu streamers and such also struggling in plat and constantly running into cheaters and dipping in and out of diamond constantly because of it, it was actually insane

I can tell you one thing. If you practice your aim and tracking, you get master/pred lobbies in gold 1 and plat already. Thats how sbmm works in Apex. But the problem is that the game also throws you Cpus older than windows 95 as teamates. So by having a good aim and soloq "you" make the game harder for your self. Well, according to the game.

It literally takes me 4h of play as an averrage solo queue player to get *somewhat balanced* lobbies without preds, cheaters and smurfs destroying me left and right while my teammates don't know how to shoot a gun. Around the 3-4h mark the matchmaker chills out with those rounds and i can have a win and "some fun" while being so toxic, annoyed and stressed out, that i just can't keep playing anymore. Physically and mentally. (90% of the time) I love this game but i *hate* the Matchmaker, Respawn and EA. I will probably play this game till it dies but only because *the core gameplay and game design* is so much fun and well done.

This is crazy me my friend used to play ranked but now we mainly play pubs bc when we was in silver and gold just starting ranked for this season we our first game we died to number one ash then next game we died to 3 stacking preds with all over 20k kills on one legend and we keep dying to that or lvl like 30-80 with 4k 20 bombs or just obviously hackers so once we hit plat we stopped playing ranked and just did pubs

I know a lot of people are saying it but, solo queue is much much different than this, the solo queue experience is quite literally the worst thing I think I’ve ever experienced in this game which I why I quit. If you really want to experience a lot of what people are complaining about do an attempt at a solo to masters. The only reason I say attempt is because you might want to quit after a while

the real problem with apex ranked is that there are more players in diamond than in gold. ranks mean nothing until masters or pred so its shitty to grind it expescially solo q because your random teammates will have somehow scraped their way in to plat or diamond, and the enemies youre going against will be players that actually belong in that rank

Me myself I don't run into cheaters taht often, I see my team8reacting to normal stuff and call out it a cheating. but for me it looks normal. But on the other hand, it's unplayable for me as solo plat under certain time of day which is sad. We talk about 1am EU here, as plat 2 i was thrown in to pro lobbies, and coudsl figure it out just how nickname variety changed with tags and LFT in them. Also I've send screen shot to friend... and he realised thaht there is Lou on kill feed. Which sucks... like. I tought for a whiel its impossible, but now I understand where comes the screens of golds runing into preds.

I’ve been solo queue the last couple seasons and have consistently hit diamond everytime. HOWEVER, it’s been a rough journey, I’ve seen more cheaters in Diamond than any other rank. Tons and tons of 6 mans more than hackers/cheaters(aimbot/wall hacks/configs)

I stopped solo queue for the last 6 -7 seasons. Because its horrible. I used to be a solid diamond player, but now getting to diamond is the hardest ever. I do try it every season a for a couple of matches but the higher you get the more braindead teammates becomes for some reason. Or getting rolled by lvl 50 players with a plat 1 rank is annoying

Its broken because the game is losing players, it doesnt have much to do with matchmaking at all. When there are less players the game cant find balanced matches its really simple honestly. Also I dont remember them changing anything in the recent future the only thing changing is the player base.
