a fun fact about that Flash game based on the 90's show is that everyone points at Mark Hamill playing Trickster and going "oh they just told him to do the Joker", when Flash came and went like 2 years before he ever did Joker so really it's more likely that they got him bc he played Trickster, another thing to add to the list of "things Batman stole stuff that worked for other heroes and became even more popular bc of it" (for instance, Batman didn't really do any CSI stuff until people liked it in the Flash comics back in the 60's)

@Thunderhands8 ай бұрын
@@TylerComptonShow spider-Man two just added some accessibility features so I’m working my way through it. It’s not perfect, but it’s getting there. Mortal Kombat 1 despite all of the problems it apparently has, the one thing they did right was the absolute masterstroke that was making the game as accessible as it possibly could be to a blind player. Other landmark examples would be the two last of us games, and Microsoft Forza motorsport, the new one. Over on PC I play Hearthstone, but that requires mods. There are a few other games like this as well, including Stardew Valley and Minecraft. In terms of retro games a lot of the games I play are either fighting games or beatemups. But it would be really nice to get into a retro platformer. There are other games that are sort of accessible too buy their nature, things like the Mario parties and the Jackbox party packs of the world.

Both The Flash and The X-Men Mojo game were released for the Sega Master System back here in Brazil. Tec Toy (authorized Sega licensee) went all the way with the "oddities" like the rather really unfinished Battletoads game (it's practically a beta version) for the SMS; a developed in-house Woody Woodpecker for both SMS / Sega Mega Drive; the full Mickey's illusion SMS trilogy; Nightmare Circus, Duke Nukem, The YuYu Hakusho fighting game devoleped by Treasure... But didn't bother with "sure dunk" releases like Sonic Triple Trouble or Tails Adventures, opting instead for the SMS conversion of the arguably inferior Sonic Blast for the GG (maybe they thought people would go thinking it was the same as / comparable to the DKC SNES games? Oh well...) Powerful entertainment as usual, Mr. McMuscles!

That 'The Flash' game is based on the 1990 tv show (which got incorporated into the modern day Flash show as Earth 90 Flash and love that your editor put a clip in of Mark Hamill as a different version of his Trickster and John Wesley Shipp as Jay Garrick also from the modern Flash's multiverse). Bit weird it came out in 1993 when the show was already over. There was also a Gameboy game based on the same TV show released in 1991.

I had the gameboy game.... it was terrible XD Loved the original TV show though. Interesting to see the initial version of Hamill's Joker [The Trickster] and possibly the prototype of Harley Quinn [I think it very likely his fangirl sidekick inspired either the writers, or Hamill pushed for it because of her.]

Rogue hits harder while it's activated. The first one called X-men, was the best, the appeal of the later games was playing as different characters. I don't recall a story, but all of the enemies and settings were familiar to comicbook followers and I think that was an appeal. IE "I'm gonna take Storm to the sewers level where Callisto is the boss!" They were also some of the first games I beat

I used to play X-men apocalypse a ridiculous amount. Def worth playing through once has a ton of fun X-men characters you fight even though the plot is basically non existent other than your in weird world and trying to go home. Only mechanic you missed out on that I know of is you can attack enemies when their off screen. either look for shadows or just spam the A button while moving up and down on the side of the screen until you see their life bar on the bottom start to go down. When I fight Cable he's barely on the screen. Enemy variety doesn't improve a ton but you do get to fight sentinals and theirs a few cool levels, one I think is a sort of platform going up on the statue of liberty which. The Best strategy I found is to play as wolverine and put everything into strength. I usually have to use around 2 continues total because they reset your lives to 3. Super super short game once you get the hang of it easy to breeze through quickly. 100 percent would recommend someone who likes the X-men to play through once. Main complaint I have with it is just that the things on the ground (mines and later fire and spikes) are impossible to move around and have super janky hit boxes. Although, you can use them on enemies so it's pretty fun. The sentinals look good when they show up so I guess they just didn't want you fighting people? that and the generic enemy designs are pretty weak but that may have been so it seemed less violent. have messed around a little with the other characters and their somewhat different I think. Combos are less prominent and mutant powers are a little different and the ults are very different. Cyclopse is a laser that hits the ground in a line and is most combos are pretty much the same and buttons don't really change their function. fun to try to see what you like but it didn't feel drastically different.
