Very cool and nice sounding guitar ... Nothing better than a Martin Boombox.

Sounds killer Aaron, the history that guitar must have, if only it could speak. Rock on!

The two which I am considering are about one tenth or less and I am weighing my options. My wife says I need neither, which is true. I hope to have both by years end. You are a joy!

Wondering how does your d28 authentic fair up to this one ?

It’s been too long to be able to compare the sound but the neck on this one was amazing. Maybe it had been sanded down?

@@aaronshortmusic thank you for the reply Aaron. I am an owner of the om18 authentic, but ive never heard or played the real pro war martins. So im just wondering if these authentic martins comes at least close to the tone of the real thing from those pre war era ?

It sounds nice but not $32,000 nice! I played a couple of 1970s Martins recently and have had the pleasure of playing some pre-war ones in the past many years ago. But in my opinion I have a 2020 HD 28 that sounds amazing that cost me $3000. The prices have just gotten ridiculous for vintage martins in my opinion. And most of the necks on those Martins where thin like the ones you said here was except for some of the pre-war ones. And I would take the neck on my 2020 HD 28 any day over those. In my opinion I just wouldn’t pay the high cost of these vintage guitars when the newer ones sound just as good or better.

Note to self; do not drop, bump or scratch guitar. 😎🎸

It has scratches already, dropping would be bad!

Jesus Christ no offense Aaron but I could find a $500 acoustic on GC that sound way better than that. Personally, just too bright sounding for my taste.
