I've been watching Wirtual for over two years, finally decided last night to try Trackmania out (went with 2020.) Now that I know what it feels like to drive these cars on these surfaces, it really gives me a deep appreciation for how skilled Wirtual is.

On the tutorials and general tips; ive been grinding the campaign and got stuck on the 'wet tires road no slide-map'. I consistently miss the second turn and have been stuck as a keyboardplayer and feel like i cant really compete in ranked on it. I have AT, but i always crash on the second turn, with always i mean of my 500 attempts i managed to get it about 8% of the times. Is that map just not for keyboardplayers or am i greatly overlooking something? Greetings, a guy who already grinded that map for 3 hours. Inb4 yes i use actionkeys, actionkey 4 on the startturn, cant find a fitting one for the second

10:38 i think smurfing for some isnt as shallow as ego boosting. Some just want to play with their lower rated friends but cant so they make a smurf account so they can and sometimes you get hard capped in certain games where it is impossible to climb 15 rr win 30 rr lose for example. At that point getting a new account to fix the hardstuck could be justified if you dont stick around too long in lower lobbies

Wirtual gets knocked out at 8th in round 16 with no crashes the entire cup, with .04 from beating Yannex and Twelfth. Then what happens? Round 17 - Eria and Scrappie mess up. (Eria out 7th) Round 18 - Twelfth crashes (Twelfth out 6th) Round 19 - Yannex and Cinx mess up (Cinx out 5th) Round 20 - Scrappie hits the wall (Scrappie out 4th) Round 21 - Yannex out with no crashes (Yannex out 3rd, needed a 47.014 to stay in, well within Wirtual's range) Round 22 - Granady touches a corner of a wall (Granady out 2nd). AR_Down wins with a 47.0 Sad to see a very minor wide turn, losing out by 4 hundredths of a second and costing possibly 3rd place or better.

Friend of mine started playing lol about a year ago with dota experience and has since then become a pretty good adc. He always complains about our opponents in Normal Games being diamond+ while he is silver/gold elo in ranked. So one day we created smurf accounts to play players of his level and what can I say. After 2 or 3 games vs levelbots we got matched with level 5 accounts who beat their grandmaster opponent in lane. There are no new players in lol - only new smurfs and bots.

If you're short on food, just cook up your gears. I prefer stovetop, but oven works too. Little oil, little salt if your heart is healthy. Pepper if that's your thing.

just saying but there is another type of smurf you forgot to mention. the troll smurf that is mostly there to just screw around and often can end up teaching people around them. those troll smurf will often end up playing with silly restriction on themselves. one way to do it in cup of the day would be for example to drive backward the whole time or to just stop midway in a round to start typing in the chat to comment on the other's driving or anything really.

I don't call those trolls since that implies they're doing it to negatively impact the fun of others. But I get the type you're talking about, and that used to be a very normal thing back before every PvP game ever went to forced MMR and deleted (or heavily de-emphasized) private lobbies. If you joined a lobby and you were better than everyone there, it was just expected that you would nerf yourself in some fashion to keep it fun for everyone, and you could even get kicked if you didn't lol

On one cup, (scorched, i think) i played with a fragile start. The GPS was on a fragioe block, but you could tap the block, then drive the course if you were broken in the brain 😂 I'm not much of a smurf though. Normally div 27-32 these days.

about smurfing. stopped playing cotds after several tries because there are always couple of players in my ~20th div who drive several seconds faster than div cutoff time starting from no ko round. like, whats the point
