I've been thinking about something like this for years lol - though for me, I was imagining it to be more like CotD, where after an initial discovery period, slowest X PBs are out, map never changes, everyone gets one run to improve before the next set of PBs goes out. Basically CotD except you're not punished for one bad run if you've been doing well so far. Everyone risks a lot more because failing once or twice won't mean they go out, or if it would make them go out, a safe run wouldn't keep them in either.

Sounds like a great idea, but it feels like people who are ahead can feel relatively safe and just risk it all. While those near the back have to risk, but not to much because they need to improve and can't afford to risk to much and fail. Feels like an early lead is easier to maintain, than to catch up after a bad start.

@@Drezaem55 It's the difference between a normal CotD where it rewards consistency vs this rewarding the ability to pull off risky lines. Yeah, you can risk more if you're in the lead, but you get there by taking a bigger risk early on.

Hey Wirtual! I don't play Trackmania, so I don't know if this would even work. But I thought of an idea for a competition like this. It would be elimination but the fastest time is eliminated instead. No idea if the game even allows that but maybe could figure something out for it? The maps would be made into maybe like towers, so that there is a finish where you would always drop to if you do nothing. The course would have hazards, holes etc that are there to try make you fall, and everyone tries to survive the longest. Again, since all my knowledge of this game is just watching the few videos I have from you, can't say if this type of contest would even be possible. :P
