That was actually the first strategy/map game I've ever played! Saw it for cheap and thought it looked fun so I picked it up and had a lot of fun with it. This basically lead me towards EU4 and other strategy games. Unfortunately the developer seems to have disappeared and the game never really achieved its full potential.

Or you don't put it on auto-end turn and you just move turns manually. That completely fixes the problem you experienced with "losing turns" to the AI.

Hey, that game actually introduced me to strategy games a few years ago, might not be great but it can be fun as a chill game sometimes. Also you are doing war wrong, you need to divide your troops evenly between the land bordering the enemy so they die when trying to attack, also you were stuck without being able to attack because you only did 1 attack in your turn and the AI did many attacks in theirs, war actually gets really easy once you understand these mechanics better.

I actually really like this game. I played its original, Age of Civilisations on mobile many years ago - which was basically just Risk but with a tonne of provinces. So this is actually pretty complex compared with that. It fills a different niche to EU4 and I love them both!

I actually played it for more than 800 hours before I could afford EU4 and HOI4, even created some custom scenarios (like one in 1900 with all the ww1 major events), but the peak of the game is how much you can customize it It's a shame that the creator never really fixed the events code, it would have so much potential

I used to play this game so much, and it was such a pain to conquer the world not because it's difficult, but because it takes so damn long to colonise everything. I usually started as Utretch (next to amsterdam). the strats for early game is to bankrupt yourself and war, and combat is just more numbers win + random chance which i wish was different but the developer of the game vanished.

I play AOC 2 (before a update ITS called AOC2) when i still don't have PC, anyway There IS a sarcasm for paradox easter egg If you flip flip and flip the flag several times Tips: its a turn BASED game so the speed on up right is for the automatic time to skip to next turn and next turn, If you don't like the timer just pause it and click the next turn yourself

Warfare works like In heart's of iron, you have to have troops on every province of the war border or your screwed Also you have to move them yourself as you already have noticed (Don't start wars with less then 6000 troops)

I use this game when ever my grand strategy itch is active and i'm on mobile, favourite part is the custom scenario's, you can easily make your own custom country's, and play an alt history scenario.
