Streaming is a different beast, streaming platforms are oversaturated with the top gamers in every game trying to make it off their skills alone. The only way you'll be successful streaming, is if you have the personality for it. If you don't have that streamer personality... KZbin is the play. After putting 10,000 hours into a game, you can do things in that game that most people haven't even thought of. Maybe that's making guides for the hard parts. Maybe that's doing insane challenges that your average player would think was impossible. Maybe that's just a quickfire highlight reel of a day in the life of a "pro"... But your options are a lot more open.

In my humble opinion. The positives outweigh the negatives. Having alot of fun in ark. Maybe more than I ever had. But I'm also glad I'm not "wasting" time in it, if I'm bored, I stop and continue later. I really recommend you to do this if you are bore in any game. (kind of duh. But still worth mentioning)

I have friends on playstation that want to be streamers and talk about how they need to play this game or that game that people are into, and i've tried telling them, trying to play the latest shit doesnt always work. Sometimes it gets you a pulse in your views, but to build a subscriber base that'l support you, i think the most important part is doing something you love, something that you'll keep being eager to jump into.

I really hope you're making that number up... So 10,000 hours is 14 years of playing for 2 hours every single day (Or at least averaging 14 hours a week, so maybe none during the week then 7 hours each saturday + sunday). If you've done this for 3 games, that's 42 YEARS. Tetris came out 35 years ago in 1989, so there's no way you've been doing this for 42 years. That means you've been playing more than 2 hours every single day on average... If you don't have any regrets right now... You will.

Based on stats I've averaged quite consistently 2000hrs per year for instance so its more like 5 years to reach 10k. But I'm perfectly happy. Have a job, wife for 12 years and a home and we love our hobbies what can I say! For instance if you work 5 days a week for 8hrs and factor in getting ready, live close to work and get 7hrs of sleep with 1hr to make dinner and 1hr to workout. Thats still 6-7hrs of free time per day not including weekends where you get like 34hrs of awake time.

My family life doesn't afford me the space to do something like that, I racked up just over 220 play days at the end of 2018 and I just stopped playing and went off to play other games I lost my drive for the game simply because I've done it all I came back and joined some boosted 5x rate server and we did all the new stuff (ngl didn't touch fjordur because I cba with the runes) so now I'm sat at roughly 250ish play days on my xbox played official pvp pve and after what happened with the 'legacy' servers ill never dedicate that much time into official servers ever again..
