It's 100% map dependent. Lowtown is freaking terrible to hunt on, also you lose your ability to hear as a hunter if you shoot to much.

Everyone knows cheese and cheat spots on the enemy team every game paired with unlimited ammo and forced taunting that always seems to direct people right to me but I can apparently hear people’s whistles across the map while I’m a hunter but they sound directly next to me.

Tbh Prop hunt isnt really a fun mode in Cod. I mean granted. It interesting but it's a really REALLY one sided game mode. Where simply hiding as a prop is near impossible in most maps to the point where if you didnt start off as the seekers format round. You might aswell back out because your gonna lose due to that one point difference. What they need to do is make the seekers have some form of punishment for shooting an actual prop. I know in the OG mode the seekers would take damage. I understand that be very annoying and hard in COD especially since theres SO MANY THINGS that can be a playable prop. What I suggest is removing their infinite ammo. Making it where Spraying and praying y like a mad man till you get a hit marker is not viable at all as it can leave you with your fists and you'll have to chase down the prop and get close enough. That would make the seekers have to actually listen out more and pay closer attention to map details

Person who made this gamemode doesn't understand how prop hunt works. From what I can see, it heavily favors the hunters. Hunters do not lose hp, nor do they get hurt when shooting a normal prop, and they also have unlimited ammo. I dont see having unlimited ammo as a problem, however they need to have consequences for spraying constantly at a normal prop. Now comes the unfair mechanic for prop players, the automatic and frequent taunting. They could have done a lot better by allowing the props to taunt themselves, but I can see the problem of prop players deciding not to use them. What they could have done is keeping the automatic and frequent taunt if the game is almost over, that way it still makes it possible to find those who didn't taunt, and help the hunters know the prop player's general location, making a more balanced gamemode.

i was JUST thinking about your idea about the taunts only being enabled at the tail end of the round. but i feel like they really shouldnt have given seekers unli ammo if they don't want to punish them for shooting the wrong props. make losing what few bullets they have as punishment enough if they'll be adamant on not giving seekers damage for guessing wrong.
