Oh man! I have been out of band for nearly 40 years and I will never forget the clipboard 📋 being thrown all the way across the practice field!!! My band director (which I love and respect to this day) was a pro. Sometimes he went for distance, but he had a signature move and threw it like skipping rocks. He could easily get 3 skips in 1 throw, depending upon how mad at us he was! 😂

We had someone change the solo in our show too for the football game against our sister school cause it’s tradition, we got a thirty minute lecture from our band director about having pride in our show and what it means to be out there marching with the music we played and how it’s disrespectful to ourselves to change the music.
