Alessia and Anna are the kindest and happiest chess players in the public domain today. Nemo is a close 3rd, but I just watched her livestream for 2 hours and she complains a lot about having a tiger mom and how much she hates chess even though it's her job, which ruins her vibe for me, but still.. nothing beats the high pitched squeak that is a nemo laugh.

Against Anna-Maja for the Nxh7 tactic I think you meant to say, "... if she takes with the Rook then I take the Rook and after she takes back with the Knight I give check on g6 ... or if she takes with the knight on h7 I take the Knight with my Rook, she takes back with her Rook and I give a check on g6 ..." .... not "... if the Knight or the Rook are taking back I can just land my Queen on g6 and I can win the pawn(?) back ..."" because even if she takes with the Knight first you do "not" want to check right away as Qg6+ Qf7 and you lose ... but I think your viewers may have known what you meant. :) Congrats on your result Alessia! What a fun event on a small boat ... and able to go with your husband!!! (he is also a fun streamer to watch! :)

The other day I lost a similar game at the club against Caro Kann trying to destroy that king with 4 pawns in the classical variation. There is no god who attacks there :( It seems better to reach an endgame with a 4 vs 3 on the other flank and try to move that majority of pawns.

Well congrats, but you was lucky ,1st guy had you before that blunder & illegal move ;Beside last opponent where she was indeed strong, you faced pretty much weak opponents, not even a IM or GM! but I guess was a Swiss tournament & the computer was in your favour matching opponents where you can have good chances to win.I suppose if your GM boyfriend would've played on this tournament, considering his Elo,probably he could crush pretty easy this field! But Good Job anyway!
