All the developers could have done was to add some kind of a caption box from time to time and reveal small elements of a bigger story, say after each boss is defeated, leading to the final ending. That would have elevated the overall experience for sure. It is a bit tedious at times, but still a fun and beautiful game to play.

I was hunting for a story the whole time I played and was a bit disappointed there wasn’t one to be found. Still a great game overall

After playing Cocoon, do you think it should have won over Dredge?

I personally voted for Dredge because I felt the game has more content to it. The story is complete, there's side quests, and more replayable to Dredge so that's why I gave it my vote initially and don't regret it. I'm not upset Cocoon won though it is still a great game, I just prefer Dredge.

After playing Both Dredge has more of a Replay Value. Both games Were Crafted brilliantly and keeps the Player Engaged Cocoon is a very fun Entertaining experience the Puzzles are aren’t overtly difficult and the Art Direction put you in mind of Journey Bother Dredge and Cocoon were hits for 2023

So far I prefer the darkness in Inside and fact that you die. Cocoon is slightly boring. The big advantage for myself is I don't get nauseated. Open world 3d games are impossible for me to play because the movement create nausea. Anyways, I wish you good play time!
