In the first 2 minutes of borderlands 2 sweat was able to experience having to turn dialogue off due to claptrap being claptrap, trolling himself with a fire barrel, and then the famous marauder back pedal when downed and needing to kill it to revive. the game basicly had almost double the destiny player numbers on steam for the last few months now and that is just steam. it's also on consoles, phones, got a standalone launcher and is also on the epic store. apparantly the phone playerbase itself was quite a suprise to DE. way higher numbers than expected. which honestly is not all that suprising considering that there is a pretty sizeable amount of chinese players in the game that annoy everyone in the asia region with their slam wukong builds. mobile gaming is pretty huge in those regions.

Anthem actually had so much potential, shame Bioware(?) and EA shat the bed that hard. Like not just a shitting the bed situation but like flooding the bed with diarrhea situation. You will be missed. PS: the heavy was by far the most satisfying class to play.

EA wasn’t even the reason Anthem shat the bed. BioWare decided to nerf a bunch of shit that didn’t need to be nerfed to begin with. Example: they nerfed the drop rates of all the end game gear to the point you barely got any during a run of the end game content. BioWare wanted to overhaul the game and add a bunch of things to it. EA ended up funded them and gave them plenty of time to overhaul the game. Yet BioWare didn’t know what they wanted to fully do with the game. It sat in this “overhaul” stage for 2 years before EA decided to just pull the plug. I hate EA and I think they are one of the worst companies in general. At the same time they were not the problem that made Anthem die out. BioWare is just an overall shit developer/company. Only good thing they made were Mass Effect 1-3 and Dragon Age Origins. Even then Mass Effect isn’t even that good of a game.

@flyin_carparts.6041 OP levels are useless and optional but with Mayhem u get more guns the higher u climb the levels and not everyone knew u could go straight into Mayhem 10/11, like myself, at first we had to actually get some good guns and make proper builds. Also in terms of Endgame content BL3 has 2 Takedowns(Raids), 2 Event bosses with exclusive loot(basically also Raids), 6 Trials maps(with optional Raid boss health), 3 replayable Slaughter maps, and 6 DLC packs adding more weapons, gear and 2 more Raid bosses

Borderlands 2 came out in 2012 years before destiny did and in Gearbox games like borderlands you have to buy your upgrades like extra ammunition and inventory space . and bosses have unique drops like weapons. In the third game Amara the siren has a perk called guardian angel in which it’s self ress that guaranteed her to stay in the fight longer. And Moze has an Mech that can aided her to summon and climb in to deal damage to bosses easily . Zane has clones and robotic drones whilst Fl4k has companions . Lastly with borderlands games you can bring other players into the campaign with the second entry there’s two extra vault hunters like Caige with her mech and Krieg the psycho oh I forgot Axton and Salvador . Also has an bevey of DLC .

Having over 1k hours in Outriders, i can with a sound mind say its one of the best looter shooters in the Genre. Love the brutal, blood combat, skill talent and passive building and how they can interweave in the overall functionality of your character. Its actually suprisely good feeling too. Trickster, Techno and Rock man are the most fun to play. Just as fun as destiny but not as challenging with the right build, which will allow you to trivialize anything.
