Absolutely more, if you're up for it! You've summed up how I feel about Arma 3 after 2500 hrs! :D Love the scope that's possible, hate the clunk that was already awkward a decade ago. Drewski also participates in Karmakut's 1-life scenarios. Some/many (?) of them are asymmetric, with one smaller team on 1-life only but better gear, while other team has unlimited respawns with militia/guerrilla gear. I think they're a lot of fun to watch, and overall more accessible to both watch and participate than ShackTac's awesome but exclusively private, long-standing 1-life PVE games.

FYI Moi, Even if holding Mouse 2 doesn't zoon often Num + and - has a separate zoom control. Often comes in handy with mounted MGs.

I used to play Squad and Post Scriptum trying to look for a very realistic and tactical war game/experience. I also played Arma 3 in Single Player, which was an amazing and realistic experience on its own. But in there i was needing more teamwork; and in Squad and Post Scriptum i was needing (a little) more realism. I finally joined an Arma 3 multiplayer clan/community and it was what i needed. The giant map with multiple cities, roads, rivers and mountains; the multiple and varied objectives; the multiple vehicles and tools the game gives you; and the organization and procedures of the people playing it (in the clan)... After i played Arma that way, Squad and Post Scriptum felt like a football match. Yes, the shooting and the mechanics feel immersive, but the gamemodes are always the same and at the end of the day, it all depends on points, the board-like map and a sportly efficience. I pretty much still enjoy it, but overall i feel less attracted to them. Arma just feels like you have to do real things, which also can often change and surprise you.

@@mickdavidson3755 I don't have Reforger YET, so i can't personally recommend it. Arma 3, yeah, i would totally recommend it. Not to anyone. But if you're already into Squad and you're interested in war simulation, yes. This is still a pretty unique experience, even if it's old and a little clunky (the clunkyness comes with the franchise). Specially if you have people to play it with. And if you don't have it, there's a lot of communities to join in. What characterizes this game/simulator is the amount of content it has. You have the official single player and co-op campaigns; single separated missions and trainings; a map editor to make your own missions; DLCs (the Burning Lands DLC is probably the biggest Vietnam game there is); you have online servers with multiple gamemodes; you have communities with different gameplay styles; and the big thing: lots and lots of MODS. Even if you only have the vanilla game, with no DLCs, you can have new maps; missions; factions; guns; graphics; mechanics; etc. And even so... not many people will say this, but i really appreciate the official Arma lore and single player campaigns, with all their AI flaws and glitches. It can sometimes be stressful, but it's still SO different to the Call of Duty experience...

I’ve been a squad player for a few years and just like you I needed a bit more. I’ve been on Arma for a few weeks now and although I’ve just been doing solo play, I’m all in. I’ve done a few online matches just vanilla server, and it was still fun. I am not in a clan yet. I definitely recommend Arma over squad!!!

I think antistasi needs the logistics and supply system from the liberation game mode. Attacking supply lines and war of attrition is quintessential partisan gameplay. There should also be a way to infiltrate enemy bases (construction uniform for factory, captured officer uniforms for mil admin buildings, etc) to gain intel on the enemy. not only numbers and locations, but also morale and details of potential future attacks, high ranking officer locations. there should be something players can do to attrit morale specifically too, which also affects the likelihood of enemy surrender in the face of the enemy. for instance, if the officer assigned to their garrison is recently assassinated or distracted then they fight much less effectively. If the AI enemy outposts suffer too much attrition they begin to arm their supply convoys weakening their garrisons...unless of course they have the manpower to do both...anyways, i like the antistasi game mode ....

I love the games that have endless replay ability with no repetitive situations. You could play arma for months and even years and it will be a different outcome or content, and the fact we can alter or change mechanics is crazy. Im new to arma 3 (3 months) and ive yet to see or experience any repetitive battles or mission outcomes..if i had to go into a bunker for 5 years im taking my pc and the games will be arma 3, fallout 4, skyrim, dayz and ufc 3 or 4..what 5 games are you guys taking and what console or pc?

Absolutely want to see more ArmA3. Compared to ArmA Reforger, I personally prefer ArmA3. ArmA Reforger is prettier, but I HATE the inventory system. To me Reforger seems a lot clunkier. Reforger is to the ARMA franchise what Bad Company was to the Battlefield franchise, it's their foray into console game design. With that comes a lot of considerations and, typically, sacrifices/limitations for the PC experience (unless they are willing to have the two be different experiences)
