Fun fact about the PC version the teachers don't just teleport once you leave them rather they walk into a "secret passage" it's really just a closet that hides the model but it gives the appearance of them not just teleporting to the next spot to anyone who runs back.

my favorite was the GBC one, its the best hogwarts simulator. its actually closer to the new hogwarts game, than any other. its all about going around school, going to class, learning spells, using them(you get the upgraded version of those spells as you use them). seriously, the hogwarts game feels more like a remake of it due to how similar it is. enemies have elemental resistances that make or break some spells on them. some spells as single target, others are AoE. my one gripe is the card aspect, i felt like you almost never need to use them, and being consumable, it feels bad to use them, but they are very broken, with some combos really obliterating any and all challenge.
