I genuinely think The Simpsons game has genius game design, and it does fit the simpsons to it's parody aspects, the same way the show has a ton of parodies to movies and tv, the game tries to parody videogames. The plot goes places and the in-game mechanics are used as part of the story, it's actually very cool!

That Simpsons skateboarding game was made by a company thats whole purpose was to make shovelware and unplayable messes on game devices. I actually just noticed, looking back on my ps2 memory card. It said the last time I played Simpsons hit and run was in 2013. It felt like yesterday.

Hey! I definitely would love to see a video dedicated to Simpsons hit and run. Little tip for some race missions especially the harder ones, sometimes if you go far from the cpu I guess they get confused and actually start going the other way or get stuck.

I'd LOVE a video on Hit and Run! It was one of my first games on the Gamecube back when I was a little girl! I still play it on my PC since this game and let me promise you one thing - Even the rest of the game won't disappoint you but the later missions are getting pretty tough! I recommend you to also try out the side missions and races! They also catch the humour of peak Simpsons!

I absolutely loved the simpsons game as a kid. I would love to see you play the full version. It’s not meant to be connected to an episode it parodies how shows talk about video games. I think it’s the best storyline game out of all of them especially with the cut scenes.

The Simpsons Hit and Run is a great game I would watch a dedicated video on it for sure. it definitely has it's flaws which you'll come across the more you play for sure but it's still an enjoyable time. I even revisit the game last year and 100% it. The only pain I had was the coin gathering as you need around 3000 coins to buy everything you need which you don't actually reach from breaking every crate, vending machine and wasp in every level.

I have recently got back into collecting games and as an Avid Simpsons fan I now have all these. I was disappointed with the skateboarding too for many of the same reasons as you, not picking up speed, controls feel delayed etc.

The Simpsons game is great and has its own storyline which I appreciate. I haven’t played much of the ps3 version but the Ps2 version didn’t have the open world bit tbat you said felt empty. In some ways maybe it’s better without the open world hub part. Also The story gets much better as the game goes so I’d definitely recommend finishing it if you fancy it!

Hit & Run was iconic although I didn’t really play the full thing until I was an adult, I didn’t even know Apu had a level until I revisited it. If you want another weird game the futurama one on PS2 reminds me of this era, I remember renting it from blockbuster before that passed 😊

Fun fact the first (and probably only) game 100% completed was the simpsons game. I have great memories of that game... Hit and run i was too young to really appreciate. But there was a glitch where if you fail a misson so many times tou can just skip, so 10 year old me just skipped to the end basically aha

And it's definitely got its own charm on tablet, there's also some megaman options, and a s*** ton of pay to play apps but those don't really interest me
