I'd say the Links at Bodega Harbour is a hidden gem for Pebble Beach like play with a Unique final hole stretch. Also about 20 mins away at Northwood Golf Club is an Alister MacKenzie course you can play for $20

You should come over to Amarillo, Tx and play one of the courses here. Ross Rogers, Tascosa, Comanche Trail, or they have a Par 3 course. If you go south about 20 minutes to Canyon, Tx they have a course called Palo Duro Creek golf course.

I've played this course several times and always felt like I got my moneys worth and then some. The course conditions seemed to be better when I've been there, though. Definitely a cool overlooked course I always try and play when im down there. Nice round!

Bro, head about 150 miles south to Soule Park golf in Ojai, CA. It is $39 to walk, $50 to ride and you will not play a better course for that price anywhere in the state of California. Play on a Wednesday and you can thank me in person!!! 😆 It was used as a Senior US Open qualifying course!

Nice round, looks like you had a lot of fun and isn’t that what golf should be! I’ve played both courses and have to say I’ll take poor man’s pebble anytime over pebble beach. Never felt more unwelcomed at a course than I did at pebble beach and just the opposite at pacific grove. Will never play pebble again.

Honestly you were playing some of your best golf in a while there. Rough shot on the last hole but if those greens were in better shape I feel you could have shot pretty low out there.

I used to play this course in the late 70s early 80s and it was fun but not in great shape. They also had a plant called Iceplant all over the ocean side of the course. I was virtually impossible to play out of that stuff. Most of it is gone now days.
