It's funny how you are a descendent of a guy who ends up with a power armor, yet your tribe sends you on a quest and the big gift they give you is a vault suit, which has absolutely no benefit.

First game was just the tutorial. Fallout 2 does everything the first did, but bigger and better. I'm so hyped to see one of the for me most sympathetic streamers, playing one of my favourite games!

Personally I sort of like the first one better. The tribal angle didn't do much for me, and while there's much more to do I didn't find any of it significantly more or less interesting than the first game. Also, it's got to lose a point for that absolutely awful tutorial area, I know at least one person who heard FO2 was the greatest thing ever, tried it, and then never gave either of the classic games another chance because of it.

@@BriBCG The slow start is the only thing I dislike about 2. And for me even Klamath is part of that. Imo the second game just scales better overall. For example in Fallout 1 you find the Combat Armor in a locker in The Glow. You're back at the Brotherhood and get a better version of it shortly before getting the Power Armor. All in all I love both. 2 just has more classic Fallout than 1.

@@foraker6487 To be fair with a little save scumming you can pretty easily go grab the advanced power armor from the locker in fallout 2 right at the beginning of the game, both games can have their scaling broken pretty easily.

Maybe one day, when I'm very old, still watching Barb, we're finally gonna be able to see him delve into the Final Fantasy series. We just have to be VERY patient. He said IF he ever does it, he wants to start with 1 and continue chronologically. My favorites are 7,8 and 9... 😅 I never played 1-5 and I kinda didn't like 6...
