I have to admit I haven't played it, even though I had it on my wishlist for ages. I was just very impacted by all the reviews giving out about the graphics not having improved in the last 7 years and also the 30 fps controversy

Totally get where your coming from and to be honest the 30fps didn’t bother me at all, because it was a smooth fps (I did play after a couple of patches), but for sure in terms of graphics compared to Arkham knight it isn’t a massive step up… I had fun with it but for sure isn’t a next generation title

I finally started playing it, I've checked they done multiple patches, they even made enemies less spongy health in Hard mode, and instead of 10 pre meditated crimes you only need to do 4 now, And some other improvements. I'm having fun ngl even on hard difficulty. I just wish they made traversal more faster😅

Man, I steered clear of this one at launch. I really loved the Arkham games but a lot of the reviews I heard about this one were trashing it. Now that some time has gone by (and plenty of patches) I am seeing it for half price or less and you've convinced me to give it a go. Looks awesome. Thanks!

I'm like 55 hours in, level 40, new game plus finished and I'm still having fun with it. I have not even unlocked all the abilities and did not finish the villain side quests. I would agree it's a 7.5 out of 10. I don't like the frame rate issues, lack of Parry\counter,all the weird crafting materials,slow bike,knighthood stuff. I liked the graphics,story, hero skills, coop,the heros themselves. It's a mixed bag but I'm having a ton of fun with it and typically don't drop 60 hours in a game if I hate it.

Spectacular review. As soon as your intro started, I thought it was just going to be another negative review. But wow, you perfectly convey every feeling and thought I've had about this game. Thank you for calling out people who didn't actually play the game and just want to hate on it. I almost didn't buy the game because of reviews, and I'm so happy I didn't listen. I had so much fun and I feel reviwers just went into this game with a really negative approach. Only rating it in terms of how it measures up to arkham (which is not how you review a game imo), rather than how the game does as a stand alone rpg type game.

At first i listened to the hate, but i saw this game on game pass and gave it a try. Its honestly a blast. Its a really good mix between something more casual but with some nice depth to it with the builds and stuff. Graphics and aesthetic is amazing combat that really opens up with momentum abilities and timed strikes. Its honestly fucking great. Wish I could get one of friends to play but they are all on the its bad because Internet says so train. Perfect game to play later at night when im done sweating in some other game.

You can play 60fps on the pc that’s what I’ve been doing but I do warn you the game will crash on you from time to time it’s still worth it tho it’s a fun game it just lacks content like this game they can do a lot with the dlc and I don’t just mean Batman they can add Batman beyond, Damian Wayne, batwoman, batwing all of them including added storylines and extra missions and side missions with more modes cause heroic assault just isn’t enough they need to switch up the location

I got this game and Dead Space for Father's Day (my kids know me LOL). I've tried to ignore all of the bad reviews. However, I didn't buy it when it first came out due to some reviews so I wanted to wait for it to get patched. Your review was great. The combat looks like it hits hard and I love the customization. OMG, this channel was a breath of fresh air, Cudos my friend on a video so very well done, you have a new subscriber. I loved Gotham Knights and right now i have 117 hours in the game and have just finished my first play through with Red Hood. (Soloed staro dungeon to level 22 and have played it a lot with other groups) I'm starting my 2nd play thru and will be using Robin. Looking forward to future videos. EDIT.....I did find the Bat cycle to be very slow, I didn't enjoy it at all and i was able to beat all of the races on the first try with time to spare. that shouldn't have happened for me because i am not a great video game player. I wish they would have made that part better. I choose to not even use the Bat cycle because of how slow it is.

What bothers me is that while using the hook you can't stop in the middle of the flight until you get there and when you jump after getting there it has this small delay between walking or jumping and it just bothers me.

I enjoyed Gotham Knights and combat didn't take long to get used to as I went in (day one preorder) expecting more along the lines of Marvel's Spiderman/Miles Morales style with dodging using Circle Button instead of parrying. So It clicked for me quicker that way and it's very fun! And my God theres Co-op which is a plus 😎🎮

I was a big hater of the game just by hearing other reviews and negative things about it. Once it came out for free on PS5 I decided to give it a shot with my friend and it was surprisingly good, entertaining, the graphics were amazing, the traversing and combat is fun as well as the story. I feel like they should add more story DLC like adding a Teen Titans DLC, Scarecrow etc or other Villians to add more story or something. I give it a 8.5/10 and recommend it to anyone

My few issues with the game is that traversal in the beginning feels bad. The cycle is ok but trying to go by rooftop is clunky at best coming from the excellent Arkham Knight. On the combat side they should have kept the flow system. It feels like a 3D Streets of Rage where you just fight one at a time in an unexciting manner. Aside from that indoor environments and character models look good but he city looks pretty awful and lifeless and lacks any visual style that says "Gotham". It has some legit flaws but it's not a bad game and I wouldn't call it great either.

I haven't played this yet (still working through God of War Ragnarok) but I really hope they patch having to stop 10 premeditated crimes JUST to unlock your traverse ability. Honestly, that was the biggest turn off to me because it seemed like something that was more of a chore than fun. Maybe they could reduce it to something like 3?

Just started this game, looks great, not noticing too many lag issues. Controls are gonna take getting used to, but it feels natural enough. I don’t get all the hate for this. I’m sure it was a buggy mess at launch. I’m also sure that it’s going to receive a good amount of patches, because most games that come out now need to hit the street and be given a chance to work the kinks out. The Witcher 3, which is hailed by many to be one of the greatest last gen titles,(for good reason) was a buggy mess when it first launched. Now it got an update, and is awesome, yet it has bugs. People are holding this in the Rocksteady Arkham light a bit too much. It can be it’s own thing and just as great now that the kinks are getting worked out. Also, it has nothing to do with that world, and I like a fresh Bat family take on a Batman game. Been waiting a long time for this game, and although misses were made, they have my attention. Hope all are well, sorry for the long post.

I bought it during the launch and the first fight with the mini boss was bad as the the Shield alone came floating. And the boss disappeared! I deliberately waited until a couple of patches came through to start playing and I literally have experienced no bugs or frame rate drops. One pop in. But game is very good now. I didn’t hear that either about the CPU. I would give it a try now!
