For the very first gameplay footage, this is very promising for me. Its got the foundational components all set out and visible. Massive open world. Seamless extracts, enemy compunds, inventory systems, weapon manipulation and shooting mechanics, quests, traders, etc. If it launched as is, it would stll be more feature complete than Tarkov was when it released into early access.

I agree, the sound design definitely needs improvement. The guns sound very weak. Even with a suppressor on a 556, it still makes one heck of a crack with a lot of lingering tail echo. Without a suppressor, it's the fiercest sounding bang you have ever heard! There is a lot of misconception online that guns don't sound epic in real life, since most videos of guns being fired in real life sound weak due to the camera mic being maxed out and not capturing the true nature of the sound. To those who have only ever seen video of guns being fired, without experiencing it first hand, they don't really know what it sounds like. My bet is the game developers are trying to recreate this inaccurate sound created by a maxed-out camera mic on a gun video.

Apparently all you need to gain interest in a tactical shooter is a littlebird, multicam uniform and a mk.18 with a aimpoint and you'll get all the mil-bros and influencers drooling at the thought of role playing and squeezing out views and content out for naive gamers with regurgitated hype words and generic gameplay, but its cool. just keep running the circus for the ringleaders. they love the free advertising for their scams. @@bojackworseman Don't get me wrong, I love MH-6s, OCP, and CQBRs as much as the next democracy enjoyers, but the rest of this comment is confusing to me. I've quite literally never played a game that uses this specific formula. Wildlands-esque open world, Tarkov-esque consequences, Ground Branch-esque larpy details, and DAYZ-esque survival mechanics. That doesn't mean it'll be good or even successful, but it's certainly not a copy paste of things we've seen before. Typically I wouldn't invest the mental energy to respond to a comment as provocative as yours, but I want encourage others to enjoy games that they enjoy and avoid falling victim to jaded gamers who've sapped the fun from the hobby.

Do they have a downed system? Cause that would be insane. I know one thing that bothers me about tarkov is the lack of immersive team play ig? Like images you get shot on the leg or chest and can’t stand cause of trauma factor so a teammate has to drag you to cover and apply the required aids. I think that would add another layer of intensity and realism to your be game.

I think it could benefit from a PvE, non extraction mode that’s slightly story/lore driven. This looks fantastic for a ghost recon wildlands type of gamemode, something like this could keep this game afloat on the sea of looter shooters. There’s a big audience of people who want a tacticool PvE coop experience with a loose objective, and this game looks fantastic for that.

I think the arms look a bit "ARMS STRETCHED OUT!" in first person, specially in the food animations.. but it's pre-alpha and it doesn't take away from the hype at all. EDIT: Tough to see when not hands on ourselves, but it looks like you're unable to magdump the G17 for example due to slow/hefty recoil pattern? Getting the gunplay right needs to be a priority for a game like this no doubt. Still staying optimistic and will buy as soon as we can.

the chicken wing while ADS is dumb. Over all game looks good. You do not chicken wing that left arm when aiming down sight. So the realism isn't there wehn ads

When holding a carbine with a modern c-clamp style grip your left arm will be parallel to the ground, so the ‘chicken wing’ is realistic. The only guns you usually don’t hold like this are long heavy rifles, like older ww2 style weapons or bolt guns. The c-clamp is the most effective and controllable method for handling a carbine, such as any m4 variant.

The goal is to sustain accuracy while being the smallest target. I used to own an airsoft field. Trained with SWAT, Seals, and Marines. Just going off what they have told me. When we would clear houses, while running a spectre, mp7 with folding stock, always have that left arm tucked@@jpwe10

Someone has to say it, but the truth and reality is, another looter shooter no one wants and or will never play because gamers are tired of the same genre of game. A very short lifespan... Maybe there will be players but overtime but these types of game gets overrated really fast. Gamers want something new, interesting, and instead theres this. Times of games are changing and this is not it. Sorry, but that's the truth and reality with looter shooters.
