I Played Mr. Fantastic EARLY And... he's an OFF TANK?

I saw people on Instagram saying he’s absolutely broken and will get nerfed before release, but all the gameplay I’ve seen he looks underpowered asf? Anyone have any thoughts about him to share, I’m trying to see what people think

This isn’t a stab towards lower rank players but I think lower rank players have more trouble dealing with fantastics different forms and stuff, overall he seems too gimmicky/complicated to be consistently useful like Spider-Man who is somewhat complicated too and doesn’t work in high ranks much

Also his ult SUCKS, I’ll say it now, it’s easy to heal through, hard to use, and makes you an open target to anyone who has good aim, at least from what I’ve seen with players use him

@@tomatojuicr his ult feels like it's just a distraction for the enemy team. annoying them just enough to draw their attention. but tbh it's really just ignorable compared to his damage and threat in big chungus mode

@JcrafterGames yeah it’s super non-threatening, it draws a lot of attention but if you’re getting healed, you’ll be just fine usually, it honestly feels like they didn’t want to create an oppressive tank that’s also fun but went too far and made him gimmicky while also not having enough damage for those gimmicks

@@tomatojuicr the ultimate could probably benefit from a damage increase the more you chain the bounces. alternatively no limit at 6. and it just keeps going forever until you cancel it or die. would be funny

His best bet for damage is his bar getting to 100% cause it looks like it does a solid amount of damage. His ult seems more like a finisher cause the entire time jay uses it, he did it at the start and down time in between each hit the healers kept healing people he damaged. Last I can’t even tell if jay hating the fact you got to swing the fist side to side was for the content, you could even see the second game he had both healers in the corner super close to each other and could have done the swinging fist to kill both.

This is what happen when you make a character do too much stuffs, they tried to make him a tank/dps hybrid and he suck at both he such as tank and he deal abysmal dmg

I think he’s actually really good at displacing and distracting people, he can yoink tanks out of position, reflect big abilities/dmg, and his big mode does pretty good dmg with like 800 health. He just needs decent healers

Idk how you think strange or magneto are anything other than just tanks and Adam warlock is definitely also just a support who can do decent damage. Mantis is more of a dps hybrid than Adam because of her insane dps output.

@@rfewer so you think Strange and Magento play like Hulk and Venom? Strange just got nerfed for doing too much dmg. You should not be dealing that much dmg with mantis really other than getting orbs. If you sleep someone you shouldn’t even touch them unless youre boosted and can oneshot the character. Warlock cannot heal enough on his own, doesn’t even have healing autos and doesn’t have a guaranteed support ult. Dagger is a better healer than Warlock. I don’t think you’re locked to a single play style for the characters I mentioned

@ wdym I shouldn’t be doing damage on mantis?? Her heals and damage boost are pretty much passive, what else should I be doing ? I can outfrag my dps on mantis so why would I sit back and do nothing 😂 obviously different tanks will have different play styles and some might be overtuned but that doesn’t mean they’re anything but tanks first
