IIRC showing double sided cards during the draft is always mandatory since the introduction of double faced cards, i don't think it's a new rule

Thanks for the comment! You probably do remember correctly. I should have said, "a rule I had never been exposed to." Back in my day when we put a card in a sleeve to play it stayed there!
