I think the reason we all like Brit so much is because he's like one of us. There's these youtubers doing mad movies etc that we would never do. But Brit just plays and enjoys Brit like a regular Joe like us. Also he gives me older brother playing a cool game while i watch vibes, homely.

As an owner of a small server seems most of the players are either people just looking to goof around, show their friends who are new to the game how to play or just groups of friends looking to fight without randos.

Pretty much yes. I run a small pve server with a small 'core population' of about 10 people that come back every wipe. When someone joins they either stay for day, week, wipe or quit in the first 5 minutes.

@@NoxiousPluK I used to play a lot. Our clan had a few servers. But zergs and door campers really just ruined it for me, when I just wanted to build a neat little base and enjoy myself.

@@pwntwtf Yea I feel ya. This is why some people also play on cozy pve servers I suppose. We added some basic mods like raidable bases and some custom made ones to improve the experience a bit and you can build some amazing things with the building system that normal servers will never see.

Been watching rust for 6 years, got a pc last year just to play it, only got 500 hours, but I still go on these types of servers to practice building, monuments and general "knowledge". Good to see a KZbin trying them out 👍

7:00 o'leary mountain is a place in a game called days gone its a safehouse where you and your friend stay for a while at the beginning of the game, this appears to be modeled after that theres a fence surrounding the watch tower in the middle this was really cool to see on rust.

World map was my fave, so huge and the monuments have some amazing loot. Especially the hangar in Africa!! It's loaded with scientists and loot crates. I play a server called Evolved PVE and it's actually quite sick the amount of stuff they added for pve content. Should check it sometime!

The map you were on with the "Rulers Warehouse" was called Mythical World, from Lone Design's website. I bought the same map for one of the servers I admin for, for our players to have some fun a few wipes back. Good 3500 size map. That room you found is behind a fuse and a card, and loaded! ;) The fact that the door did not light up for you, means the server owner did not set up that map correctly to load the monuments also. So, they DO open, so you know, and are pretty loaded.

Some good pve servers have npc raid bases so you can practice, or just enjoy raiding for loot without getting beamed by a player with 2k hours on ukn or a cheater. I like raid redemption. I usually play a day or two and then leave. Come back a couple weeks later. It's a nice change of pass from vanilla

This is what I did when I first started playing, it was okay, put down a base, whatever, knew somewhat about rust since I had played before but with my friends, built a super shitty base, dude laddered in my window, was raiding me, invited me to their clan, and got through my code locks I thought they were gonna team with me then they said “oh you’re new lemme hell you actually”
