Level 38 here, I focused on the Go Battle aspect of Pokemon Go (I mean the raids and shinies are great too) and that made my experience much better because it was somewhat a skill I had to learn besides punching in a credit card number. I love PoGo as f2p

Tyranitar is pretty easy to obtain from raids and is really weak to machamp, which is pretty easy to obtain f2p since you get free evolutions from traided machoke

Hard to call it Free2Play when the account already has all the item and pokemon space. I still strugle with what to transfer, sell and keep in all my inventories. All the gym coins definitely go to space

Here’s a tip to do “remote” raids as a f2p player. Find a raid that isn’t too far away, but can’t be accessed. Make sure you have either a premium or free raid pass. Jump out and immediately hop back into the app, then spam the join raid button. It may take a few attempts PS: the raid must be 200m or less near you

This used to work for me every time like clockwork, but not anymore as of about 2 weeks ago. Guess it depends which android phone/update you have. Also wanna note that this has never worked on IOS in my experience.

I've been free to play ever since a little before the remote raid nerf and I tell you it's not as bad as people make it out to be but I understand in certain aspects that people are also royal areas and it's a lot harder. But I use my gym coins only too use on more item storage or upgrade pokemon storage and that's it. I use daily raid passes on raids so I don't really care for remote anymore. But being free to play always bless me with allot of shinies that I can't even count I'm over 1450 and been only been playing 2 years which isn't a bad shiny count. Field researches has been blessing me lately but eggs I don't even bother I just use my normal incubator I get and call it a day not even on hatch days I hate hatch days and the bundles are absolutely horrendous so i dont even bother.

Buying the bundles though will almost always be better though than buying specific shop items outright. I spent $100 on pokecoins a few months ago, purchased off the web store so I could get bonus coins and I think i bought one or two incubator boxes (really wish I waited for the box with 100 incubators for 7000 coins). Other than that I bought remote passes a few times out of the boxes and I still buy pokemon and item storage of course. I still have just over 5000 coins left, tbh I've never been much of a raid guy as I think they're too out of the way and I don't like staying in the same place, especially out in the open, so I don't get to use my free raid pass every single day (I wish they gave solo raiders the option to ready up instead of only when in a group). Also it doesn't seem like many people play where I live and I don't really have any friends who play like I do so trying to do legendary raids usually just ends up in me getting frustrated by trying to invite people remotely and it not working (no one joining). Other than that I do play the game pretty hard and lately, despite having the coins in my account, I have been trying to play F2P. I still have a handful of incubators that I am saving for 12ks and special event eggs

If you wanna play the game free to play genuinely, then you also need to play the game only for the hours that normal free to play people can play it. Most normal people with a day job and limited income won't be able to play the WHOLE DAY for 7 days. Some realism for a change would be more useful

I am mostly free to play. I use an auto catcher and buy GoFest tickets, but that's it. It can be a little frustrating, but you learn tricks and techniques to stock pile rare items. That's what really hurt you. You couldn't access any of your existing inventory of items, when, in reality, as a L50 346M XP player, we are in the same ballpark rank wise, and I have enough coins and items to use them when necessary, but maybe not when I want to. One point you got sort of wrong is that getting your 50 free coins and gym work is way more of a focus than you let on.

The difference is a 14 and 15 in hp is like 0.4 but the hp can’t be something like 0.4 so ya in a way the lucky Frillish is basically identical to a 100% one

This is true for many pokemon, but not Jellicent. It has 200 hp at level 50 with 14 HP IVs, but with 15 HP IVs it has 201 HP.

i got myself a free remote raid pass from my breakthrough box. guess what happened. i did a kyurem raid and i failed to catch it :D. im not having it with catching legendary pokemon. also had a zekrom flee on me. i just scuffed too many throws xD. maybe if i did great/excellent with golden razz it would still have ditched me dont get me wrong. but i dont have many legendaries fleeing on me normally.

I do appreciate your videos but I do want to point out a problem with this. A couple years ago I went from $50 to $100 a month into the game and stopped instantly and my luck stayed good for about 3 weeks after, then my shiny counts started dropping from 1 to 3 shiny a night to 1 a week. Just my opinion Pokémon Go is a pay to win bigger game. But if you have a lot of money invested on your game, they will not instantly cut your increased chances. I do pay for Go Fest but try not to put any other money into the game.
