I had many issues with Go Fest this year - Shiny rates felt skewed at certain points. Only got 21 total from both days. I encountered like 50 Rockruff and not a single shiny, I would go like an hour or two without ANY shinies before getting just 1 and having that same thing repeat again. - Raids were very underwhelming. Only 1 shiny and it was garbage, and on day 2 I almost didn’t have enough energy to fuse ONE Necrozma because the amount of energy you get vs the amount it takes to fuse is atrocious. - The 3 special research not being separate. By the time I got to the Solgaleo research, which was like 10 pages deep or whatever, the game is like raid 5 more times. Still yet to complete it cause I ran out of passes by the time I got to that point.

My problem was Necrozma, 137 raids and i only got 1 shiny (with catch card) but on the other hand i caught 133 wild shinies. But yeah same with the research im stuck at the 5 raids part.

Only problem I had was that it wasn’t 1/10 shiny odds and you only get 90-120 energy per raid. Didn’t like that you needed to do 20-22 raids to get both forms. Did 12 necrozma raids a none were shiny still managed to get dawn wings so I’m not that annoyed. (non ticket because I was under the impression that we would get 5 free raid passes.)

I kind of wish the event lasted longer, I live in a small town and there was only around 2 or 3 gyms that were full enough to defeat necrozma so I only got 4 necrozma and around 200 lunala energy, also doesn't help that remote raid passes are expensive

1:46 wow dude you got the floor (worst iv spread possible from a raid) off the first raid!! i keep all my 2018’s because they’re cool to have, 1/216 odds to get one. Obviously not as dope as a hundo but aye. i did 504 total necrozma raids, no shundo, 20 shinies, 1 with a catch card, 1 XXS, 1 XXL, and a bunch with the New York and Global catch cards. I also got 4 hundo necrozmas, and a 96% shiny. i’m now waiting to lucky trade most of my shinies so i can try for the shundo some more:p

Overall good but some of the hours were too diluted with trash com day spawns on day 1, day 2 had too many ducklett/emolga/crabrawler spawns based on weather which prevented other pokemon from spawning. Other thing i didnt like was that on day 1 there were too many necrozma raids that took space from the UBs and it was stupid because these raids didn't give any fusion energy.

honestly, I ended up doing 56 Necrozma raids and never even got a shiny which was what I was wanting most this go fest. I felt a little upset since I did pay for the ticket and everyone in my group ended up with at least 2 shinies each and they did only half the raids I did, only upside was that I did get a hundo and some friends are willing to lucky trade me. I'm not sure if the ticket was worth it yet, but I did end up with around 30 shinnies for the more common pokemon.

My two take aways from Go Fest 1) Beast Balls need to be for all raids. Buy tickets, doing the raid and then failing to catch something from bad RNG sucks. They should be 100% catch rate, but anything to increase should be implemented. 2) They should have like a group of 30-40 insanely rare spawn with like a 1/1000 chance to just have one of them show up. I think it would be more exciting and a reason to get out more for a chance to catch maybe 1 or 2 of them. I'm talking pokemon you would never normally see in the wild like Spiritomb, Ceruledge, Chandelure, Bisharp, Pangoro, Ursaluna, Cradily, Krookodile, Noivern.

For someone that couldn't raid at all this weekend - this was probably my least favourite go fest they've ever done. You only get a maximum of 100 energy per raid and you need 1000 for one fusion? Then double that for the opposite counterpart? I'm sorry but that's 20 raids at an absolute minimum to get just the essential. For those that had a blast this year, good on you! That's great. But if you couldn't raid, this would've been an extremely expensive weekend. At the very least, timed research for some energy would've looked better on the resume.

This was a great go fest for me, first two raids kn day 1 were back to back shiny Necrozma. Unlimited raids, used Origin Dialga's RoT all day, both days for the incense. Really focused on getting a bunch of new shinies and boy did I.
