@@philipp286I don't mind the use of the first special, but honestly considering he was an inkbrush that special could've been saved if he had a heavier weapon. Probably just should not have been down there and instead messing around the egg basket clearing out lessers/carting big shot eggs in Second one was totally wasted though. Could've easily gone around the Scrapper, especially with such a mobile weapon.

1:48 I like how two of his teammates go down here and he doesn't acknowledge it at all. Doesn't even look over to see how far they are or what's going on, he just keeps playing as normal and then dies himself to a pair of chum. If that splattershot pro hadn't cluched up they could've easily lost wave 1 and we'd see another rage from him I'm sure.

I know I'm late to the party, but for those of you confused about why he spams "This Way!" In Salmon Run, a common strategy known as "Luring" involves teammates drawing boss Salmonids in by staying near the basket. This allows eggs to be collected faster, rather than collecting them all the way from the shore. That being said, some bosses can't be lured, and they WILL become a problem if you dont do anything about them. Further, luring only works well when your whole team knows what you are doing. If one person pushes ahead, it's better to support them than to use one of your 2 commands to try and fix it yourself, wasting valuable seconds trying to get them to coordinate. The Griller Wave kills me too, his teammates get to a safer spot used for Freelance games, and he complains about the good positioning that he is the only one not taking. Needless to say, bro is not an Overfisher.

Some bosses can't be lured and depending on the map you shouldn't be luring them to basket. Bay you should really not lure stuff like eels or lids as it can just make dealing with anything else messy. Even more so on HT.

The comment about barely making quota on the mothership wave confuses me. He wasted time splatting salmonids in the way when he could have easily just ran around them to get the eggs, and he didn't help his teammates dispatch the ship from the basket. Genuinely what did he expect

I have heard of this guy a lot over the years. The only thing I know about him is that the one time I legit raged at another person over something dumb in the game (in context, it's not what it sounds like, but I still shouldn't have done it, to be clear), I was instantly compared to him (because that's gonna calm someone down when you're spawncamping their friend who's brand new to the game and doesn't even know how to vertical flick yet!). Since that incident, I've avoided any content that mentions him because I've been scared to find out if the comparison was true, even if only in the moment. *17 seconds in and I can safely say I've never been anywhere near this angry at a game. ok plenty of people have dissected his terrible gameplay, but there's one thing i wanna point out: 9:09 he kills a random snatcher for no reason 9:49 "that's not gonna make it in time..." gee, i wonder what could have possibly been done to prevent this. there must have been some course of action that he could have taken! sadly we'll never know... (or even just killed the damn thing and ran the eggs himself. there were literally zero salmonids around and we have egg throws in this game for a reason)

It's always preferred to lure to the basket, especially on EVP unless of course a stinger, big shot, or flyfish spawns. This map especially you want to lure because everything spawns so far from the basket. So while I don't agree with how Putz acts, or the weird plays he makes in salmon run, you should always try to lure.

You can easily be carried to EVP unfortunately, especially if you have basic knowhow of each weapon. In this game EVP is not as impressive as it used to be until you get to mid to high EVP.

While his first inkjet was actually pretty good, he should have immediately popped his second one to try and clear the bosses by cannon as well as revive his downed teammate. Plus, he also could have thrown a bomb over the side of the ship to revive the other downed guy while running. Also, he should have popped his booyah to help deal with grillers, specials aren't just there to look pretty on the helmet. Just some observations I made.

Splatter Pro - 45 Inkbrush - 36/40 Splatter Jr. - 28 Splat Charger - 50/300(5 shots per tank) Granted.. if possible, Jr. should be bomb spamming whenever possible. Drop Bombing grillers for a free 720 damage after a stun is actually difficult to pull off on flatter maps. Splatter Pro usually has a hybrid role of DPS/babysitting since it has good range with small chance of randomly spitballing. Inkbrush can run the fries over by rolling, but be wary of larger cones as you can get spanked from behind. Jr. since it has smaller range.. usually flanks grillers and after a stun, can inflict lots of burst damage with a bomb toss along the hind wheel. Splat Charger can punch for 300, but you need 400 to stun a griller, so they just need a tiny bit of help for consistent stun rates, especially when doubles decide to show up.

I'm pretty new to splatoon content and more serious gameplay, and honestly watching putz is so painful in a weird way. Like it's obvious he's not horrible! His movement isn't that bad- it's leagues better than mine. But his game sense is pitiful. He never knows whats going on or what to do or anything. It isn't what I'd expect from a player with probably thousands of hours, it's what I'd expect from someone with less than 100 (like me lol). Glad I'm riding the putz train as it's starting to pick up steam because of that one video on him
