That painting gives Rock Heart, a dragon transformation (finally!) and one of two Golden Hippo is 100% optional, only required bosses to "complete" the DLC are Messmer, Romina, and Promised Consort. Honestly Romina feels a little strange being required and guarding the sealing tree. No idea why she is there. Holy damage (which Euporia deals) is actually GOOD in the DLC, but Lightning damage is still bonkers and chews up everything. Doesn't help that it either rains everywhere or there's a random pool of water in the zone. (So Bolt of Gransaax is bonkers) The new Dread Talisman basically reverses the nerfs to Blasphemous Blade and then some, since the skill apparently counts as Lava damage Raksasha's armour gives like, 2% damage per piece, and while it SAYS it increases damage taken, it just has worse Negations than other armours in the weight class. But generally around a 2% per piece damage taken increase IIRC. Raksasha's Great Katana works exactly the same in your hands. They gave it stupid hyper armour during the skill. Apparently it's really good. Dragon Hunter Great Katana deals a stupid level of bonus damage against Dragons, it should make Bayle hilariously easy Should you feel spell-inclined, the Death Knight set increases Dragon Cult incants by a few % per piece and Knights Lightning Spears is bonkers damage, Dragon Cult, AND not input read/dodged by enemies. It can cheese many fights, especially in base game The summon sign inside Messmer's arena was for Hornsent, and doing that would make him invade you before Romina which removes him from the Leda fight. Igon has a similar summon sign inside Bayle's arena. Though doing his quest "simply" gives you his special Ash of War (in addition to his normal drops) but also the hardest fucking lines in the game. DO IT You could remove Moore from the Leda gankfight by telling him to "remain sad forever" or just killing him. You can loot his armour from where he goes to die by the chapel where Queelin invades. Even if you ignore Ansbach/Thollier, the game gives you a Sanguine Noble summon option for the fight. Given I saw Leda standing around at the end of the vid, it might not be too late to invade Hornsent with her and remove him from the fight later. Also complete Ansbach's quest Ignoring Freya like you did SHOULD remove her from the gankfight. Apparently if you go get the Maddening Hand (from the Spoopy Woods, an NPC named Maddening Hand on the way to the map), it can almost insta-proc Madness on NPCs which should REALLY help the Gankfight Hornsent/Igon summons, being inside the boss arena, do NOT increase the boss HP at all, so using them is very on-brand with this series. Summons inherit your Scadutree level, Spirit Ash only affects Torrent and your Spirit Ashes. I'm PRETTY sure NPC summons scale off Scadu, but THEY might be buffed by Revered. Not relevant to this series, but apparently the DLC has 2 scalings. One being the default NG+, but another being if you NG+ cycled AFTER killing Promised Consort, it scales HIGHER. So NG+ DLC will be easier if you skipped the DLC Final Boss than if you killed him first. (At the same Scadu level, since that transfers over. Still a cap of 20 tho) There's a REALLY STUPID looking Fire Knight Hood you can get that functionally gives you an Erdtree's Favour talisman effect for free Fire Knight Greatsword (the FK weapon you talked about) is supposed to just be a really good Collosal Sword apparently, and it's infusable. Apparently all the Fire Knight weapons are pretty damn solid, especially with Flame Art affinity. Bloodfiend Arm not only has stupidly good base Bleed, but also Arcane scaling, so making it Blood/Arcane to boost that and using an Arcane build makes it just stupid. The Poison Flower Blooms Twice ash of War apparently makes Poison Bleed now, as it deals the ENTIRE poison effect on hit. A great ash to slap on like, Poison infused Serpent Claws, or after using the Deadly Poison perfume which doesn't require ANY stat investment to get use out of the skill, or the Poisoned Hand... Pairs nicely with Rot Exaltation stuff. Golem Smith Talew is a really good Spirit Ash being extremely tanky (even Promised Consort struggles to deal over 70hp per hit on them) with a relatively low HP total making them very easy to keep topped up via things like Heal from Afar (which has healing on par with the Red Flask while also being only slightly longer)

Just a few addon If you ring a bell in the ruins finger and talk with Ymir and the Sword of night she can be summoned instead of hornsent If you talk to Moore and just say "I don't know" he'll stay at his spot and won't fight in the gank fight

Mimic is very strong. It does also make the game much easier. Nothing wrong with ether of those statments though. On both ends. People should be okay with others saying it makes the game easier it blatantly does. Like a calculator makes math easier. Unless you are trying to prove somthing then who cares. Just enjoy the game.

Tiche carried my ass all the way through ..now I have no problem no hitting bosses .. My point is ..people pay their hardearned money on a god damn video game ..they can play literally however they want and however they have fun to play it and not a single person should give a damn about that ..thats why I love this video ...kind of showing peopld that it is fine to just have fun and not having to sweat for 7 hours against one boss

That great katana actually does have hyper armor while attacking, though i forget if that is only during the ash or not, it also gives the same effect as the armor (but obviously you need to be holding it for that).

What if you offhand the katana? I'm pretty sure that gives the dmg buff without having to use it Like, switch to the katana after buffing with the seal and two hand the other weapon so that the katana is just chilling on your back

As a non-player of this game, I think Imbued Sword Key are used for the 3 portals (one goes to starting area) and a door.

I havent seen much people say what the imbued stone sword key is for so i will tell you, so in the base game you are able to get some imbued stone sword keys and at the top of a hill there is 3 portals so for example one goes to crumbling farum azula but you need to activate the portal with the imbued stone sword key first. Im not sure where to use the imbued stone sword key in the dlc but im sure you can figure it out in 2 seconds if you just search it

rakshasa'a great katana is insane, it's nearly impossible to get staggered out of the weapon art epioria's glimmer is a funny buff because it doesn't go away even if you unequip the weapon, but it does last around a minute if i remember correctly (refreshes when you hit anything)

It's totally intentional to have side paths to skip bosses since you can skip Stormveil completely to go straight to Liurnia and Magma Wyrm Makar if you have the Dectus Medallion. The main game only requires you to kill two shardbearers (Rennala, Radahn or Godrick), then DragonKnight to get to the capital for Goldfrey and Morgott, then it's a straight path to Fire Giant, Godskin Duo, Maliketh, Gideon, Godfrey and RadaBeast. And that's implying you don't need to grab anything else that is behind a boss off the critical path. As for Spirit Calculus, it's a material to craft Spiritstones which are little slow homing energy balls that can be detonated manually using the Bondstone. It's mainly a trap/setup tool to play around with because even tho it is VERY slow moving, it actually pulls off a pretty tremendous amount of damage (for a consumable) and knockback when it blows up. It's a good PVP shenanigan item since people tend to forget about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but when you do a heavy attack with the bloodfiend arm, there is a bloodsplash attack that comes right after, if your bloodfiend arm does 200 blood build up with a regular attack, it will do 400 blood build up, because the strike and the bloodsplash are two attacks (right after each other)

the fire knights greatsword is insane with flame spear aow on a faith/str build (mostly faith) put flame art on it and it will rip bosses apart with good movement / punishes can be tricky to use but very strong. Used it in one of my non rl1 ”casual” runs

Fun tip: use the sacred relic sword aow in the east and west maosleum, instant stagger

without doing any quests it's a 3 vs 2 with the herald leda and dane against you and the noble of the blood, freya fights with leda, ansbach and tiolier with you if you do the respective quests, it is possible to kill the guy with the horns both during the normal leda quest and at the end of the guy's quest when he invades you (but you have to summon him from mesmer) moore fights against you if you tell him to go ahead and not stay sad forever after breaking miquella's rune these are macroscopically the lines for that fight, it's better to do tiolier and ansbach also for the final boss, ignore freya and kill the guy with the horns during leda's quest when she attacks him, moore as you want, if you tell him to be happy and talk to him after the fight he will be happy but he won't appear because, in fact, leda is already dead

What was busted on bloodfiend arm was the blood loss build what they reduced was base dmg in other words it is still intact, also after poise break go for another charged r2 it will build huge blood loss leading to more dmg in the long run.
