I played the EASIEST Golf Course in The UK! (statistically proven) 3HCP

To qualify for the easiest course in the country the criteria we set was it had to be a mens tee set, 18 holes and 18 individual greens. For anyone that wants to go try this course, it is the Men's "Red" Tee Set as officially listed by England Golf, playing 4,500 yards. Let me know how you get on and enjoy!

I have great memories of Oakland Park. My Granddad, who got me into golf is a member, and therefore I have played it many times over the years, (less so recently). As you say, if you can hit the ball a fair distance the course becomes a lot easier, but a relatively challenging course for those who can't hit the ball as far. My Granddad still plays here every Monday with his Monday's Old Gentlemen's Group, also nicknamed the moody old gits!

I’m a member at Mill Green in Hertfordshire and I think we have the easiest par 5 I’ve ever played. A nice wide and dead straight fairway and at 470 yards it’s a very good eagle opportunity to start

Asking whether a golf course is easy is like asking whether a question is easy. If you know the answer to the question, of course it’s easy. If a golf course suits your game, it’s going to be easier than one that doesn’t. But whether it’s easy or not, playing any course sets you a target - can I play well. I always struggle on certain courses with ratings of less than 70 but I usually play well on some courses with ratings over 72. That’s why I love golf.

i do agree, shorter courses def suit me as fairly straight off the tee and means I dont need my long irons which are my weakness

It's not easy to say wether a golf course is easy or difficult. It depends on the type of player and his or her strengths and weaknesses. Course rating will be the most actual measurement in general, so I would agree with the start of the video. If I would play from the red tees on my homecourse in Norway, it would be 64,2 and I would have to score an 83 from those tees (par 72, PL.HC 17). The point is that you have to be spot on with the direction, otherwise it's hard to find your ball back. (blueberry bushes, trees, pits) As a beginner golfer that's not easy. But easier to go under 90. But does that count as a genuine sub-90? I see the yellow tees as my correct ones and if I score below 90 from those, at a 72 par course, then that counts for me. Not from the red.

I think this is a course that really suits Seb’s game. His only weakness is he lacks a bit of distance and that’s not an issue on this course at all. In fact, it may help him taking a big-faced driver where others are taking 3w or hybrid to reach short par 4s. And, his short game is lethal.

As Seb said there is literally not much room for mistakes/bad shots. It might be the easiest course for a scratch golfer (CR), but the slope has to be taken into account for higher handicaps as well. The easiest course for 20 hcp might differ to the easiest for 10 hcp.

Great video. Subscribed. Playing a easy course for the first time still means some holes will be trickier but once you know the do's/dont's on these holes, they become easier too. I assume this course is easiest because it is short and flat. I'm not sure how a 230 yd hole can be a par 4 or a 440 yd a par 5 (I guess it's all changed since I were a lad). Great shot ouf of the laurel and your final score was excellent!

Theres a par 3 very similar to the easiest one at one near mine, i think a little longer. Bit of water in front too, but its just about right club and clean connection and youre on a pretty flat green. Easiest ive played. Im awful, but i birdie that one often.

Great video but a little bit of feedback for future videos, if you don't mind could you please make the graphic of the shot on the right a good bit smaller and appear on screen for less time? It's taking up far too much of the screen imo and very distracting. I'd say it isn't really necessary at all when you have the shot tracer as well but it's still kinda cool to see, just takes up too much room.

Hertfordshire golf club easiest course I play…. Taylormade nails marketing so well and Seb is a great man to have on their team! I love p790s and am still gaming the originals but would love an upgrade

Watching that made me feel so much better, as a high handicapper still using my beginners Slazenger irons, even I think I could keep it within 10 on that course. The biggest takeaway for me was the course management using the 7iron off the tee on a par 4. Never would I have thought to do that, going to have to think more in future where to avoid the trouble. Poult Wood Golf Course is easier. Has a par 68 course but very short. Give that a go at some point Seb and you will shoot very low.
