Coming from a Warrior fan myself, I wholeheartedly agree with you. But I’ll say the Curry Era was from 2015-2019 and yes the Spurs would’ve beaten the Dubs if Zaza hadn’t slide under Kawhi. We did get lucky a few times but that Celtics series was definitely the most memorable and meaningful series as a Warriors fan.

2017 warriors were the greatest team of all time. Series would've gone to 6 at least but the Warriors were just a way better team, game 1 was a fluke before Kawhi went down

@@therealking69 Ima just say it rn. The 2016-2017 Warriors went 67-15. I think you’re talking about the 2015-2016 Warriors who went 73-9, and lost to the Cavs in 7 in the Finals. That team was the runner up to the Greatest Team of All Time. The Greatest Team Of All Time was the 96 Bulls who won their 4th Title. So ima have to disagree with you on that one. If you look at the paper yes the Warriors had a better roster, but the Spurs if Kawhi hadn’t went down would’ve gone to the Finals. It’s the same situation in the 2019 Finals Warriors vs Raptors. If Klay and KD hadn’t gone down with ACL injuries the Dubs would’ve won in 7. I’m a Warriors fan fs been a Warriors fan since the Monte Ellis We Believe Era, but most of all I’m a basketball fan, and I know when teams are better than us. Like this season, I’ll be surprised if the Warriors make top 5 in the West. Hate to say it but our NBA Dominance is over. We’re at best a Play-In Tournament team. If we get lucky maybe a 1st or 2nd round exit.

that was game 1 of the series the claw is my favorite star in the league i love him but it’s delusional to say because of game 1 they were gonna win the team we should actually talk about is if the rockets didn’t miss 25 3s in a row then we would have had a team beat them

@@QcTreyWay22YT dude you don’t know ball it’s two totally different situations tbh the warriors would have beat the raptors if only klay or only kd went down they both did and they lost because of it game 1 of the 2017 round 1 playoffs the claw was going in but its idiotic to say they would win that series how many times have we seen teams win game won and get smoked the suns were up 2-0 lost 4 in a row like that’s basketball the 2017 warriors are the greatest basketball team every created i don’t care about wins and loses i don’t care about record that team is the greatest ever and if the rules don’t change soon that’ll be the only time we see 4 superstars on the same team together it’s hard with a realistic basketball mind to say the old tim duncan lead spurs and one young gun in kwahii could beat that 4 headed monster

You can look at a roster and say “oh that’s the greatest team of all time” but just looking at a roster and not seeing that roster play and saying that makes absolutely no sense at all. The Bulls went 72-10, and they won their 4th ring in 6 years. The Golden State Warriors in 2015-2016 went 73-9, however they lost to the Cavs in 7 after going 3-0. THATS MY POINT! Anyone can tell you that a team on paper is great but it’s how they execute plays and win games. For example everyone thought the Brooklyn Nets from like 2020-2023 was going to be one of the best teams in the NBA, but look at what happened, Kyrie was actin a fool, KD was disgruntled, and Harden was doing…well not Prime Harden. Suns added KD to help improve but they lost to the T-Wolves in 2023-2024 in a sweep that in reality shouldn’t have happened. The Warriors vs Celtics finals was most likely our last run idk for how many years, but the Western Conference has gotten better. Look at the T-Wolves, OKC, Memphis, Clips, Houston, Sac, Dallas, Denver. These are all the teams that the Warriors have easily won in the past. But these teams know how to stop Curry now, these teams strengthened their core around younger talent to compete. The Warriors, STILL REVOLVE THEIR WHOLE OFFENSIVE SCEME AROUND CURRY!!! Why do you think we haven’t been dominant since 2019? The office keeps trading away younger players like Poole, Donte DiVincenzo, Wiseman among others. Players who could’ve been the future of the Warriors.

@@Hoopsify5 the only reason they lost em was bc they signed kd, if u replace harrison barnes w any other serviceable sf or even if you bring back the same roster and curry stays healthy I don't see how they don't beat the cavs fr. it took multiple injuries and a draymond suspension for the cavs to win a game 7 by 4 bro

I love how you say "how ironic" that the Curry Era by your definition, is when KD was in Golden State... But didnt they win before and after KD? Or im I wrong 😂

The era started in 2016, the year they got KD. They won in 2015 vs a hurt cavs team & without KD vs a healthy Cavs team, they wouldn’t have won again. Thats why they recruited KD. They all said it. So it’s funny to me how the curry era was only his era because KD came to the warriors.
