I hopped back into Duels for the first time since Showdown in the Badlands released, and thought I would try out Dragon Druid. I was absolutely not alone.

Nice a duels run! I have not played duels this expansion yet, so I did not realize that dragon druid was this popular! Reminds me of when that dragon priest deck was just everywhere in duels. Can get pretty frustrating to face the same deck over and over again for sure. Maybe they will change up the treasures; I feel like the problem when 1 deck is super prevalent is usually because the treasures are too consistent for it. I'm definitely not an expert though

Duels is the main game mode I play in hearthstone. I like to try different decks like sludge warlock, excavate rogue, and undead spell priest. It just isn't fun right now since dragon druid is a meta that is always producing giant boards. Could you make a video with a deck made to counter these dragon druids?

I just did a dragon drekthar run and let me tell you it was way more broken than any of these games. Shadow casting 101 makes the deck completely insane. Unlimited onyxia which is ramped by unlimited 4/4 which reduces cost. My last game I generated kazakusan and anachranos so I spent the whole game poofing the board until I had unlimited treasures. Absulutely absurd

I'd say this is more a testament to Shadowcasting 101's brokenness It is an ultra rare, but any deck with good battlecries becomes broken with it

Either way, I think this might have been one of the he best use cases for shadowcasting I’ve seen so far. Feels like compared to some of the other decks it’s been in before there are so many instantly game ending battlecries

shadowcasting is just a broken passive Blood DK with it is just absurd. Easy win con with alex spam and so much removal and healing, probably the strongest shadowcasting deck. though with shadowcasting youre basically guranteed 8 wins, its like a passive version of the sword treasure though i have to agree that drekthar is a good hero, imo drekthar with draconic blood and draconic dream is the best dragon druid deck. The heropower and dream are really powerful, you have a draw HP unlike omu, and draconic blood is the strongest dragon passive in the game

I play Duels almost exclusively and I'm already over it b/c of all the dragon druid variations. If they just banned the dragon golem that would balance things out just fine. The other dragons you can deal with, although it is still not easy. The golems one after another are too much.

I'm currently 7 and 0 with the standard armor bomb warrior mixed with excavate. They never end up dealing hp damage to me. Dragons are not the most busted thing in duels by a mile

To be fair, if you're playing Druid with new cards, you have no choice but to play Dragon Druid And there are three different Heroes that are at least partly Druid

cant blame people for tryharding in heroic, where youre paying money to enter. If you want some janky stuff play casual duels also the way duels is designed just inherently means that if you win alot of games, later matchups will be against tryhards cause they get there easier

This is one I can’t watch Regis, I’m sorry. This deck is everywhere and is toxic af I’ve been crushed in duels 8 times now by Dragon Druid and it’s starting to make me ill I hope you make all the moneys, and I’ll be sure to double watch another video. Just can’t do this one

Taunt warrior stomps it pretty well if you get the rattlegore hero power to force one of your minions to attack an enemy minion. go for treasures that buff your taunt boys. it can be pretty disgusting, though i guess tbf there is some variance (just like in all of duels) with what treasures you get offered and what card buckets you select. but i've had great success with the deck. it does kind of seem to be the only thing that really counters dragon druid right now though. also paladin with the lifesteal minion that swaps with a minion in your hand can be super busted but you have to giga highroll for that deck to work.

this is the worst expansion I've ever played in 8 years it's horrible let me know if you guys feel the same everybody is just playing pure Paladin that's how bad the expansion is
